We all went to Valentin’s restaurant, the one where he took me that first night. The staff prepared a sensational dinner, and they had gotten together to make a cake that they presented to him and to me.
Gaston, the maître d’, told me privately that he was thrilled to have me join what he called their ‘family,’ because he believed that I would be the softening, gentle influence on Valentin.
“Good luck with that,” I told him.
He would have been disappointed to learn, I had no wish to soften or tame Valentin. Not at all.
I was looking forward to the conclusion of my scheme.
Now I work a couple of mornings a week with Armand on choreography. And twice a month, I dance in the club.
In my old life, those nights dancing would be the most thrilling thing imaginable. But then nothing compares to the beating, the reaming, and hammering that I get afterwards.
That will all be changing soon, though. In a few weeks I’ll be too big to dance, and I’ll have to find another way to make him angry, to make sure that all of the slaps and the hammering keep up.
I really hope you enjoyed that fast, sizzling tale.
