Killuk sweeps me off of my feet. “Where to?” He asks, kissing me softly. I can’t believe how lucky I am to finally have him, and it’s scary to think that if we had just missed each other at that party on Avrox, we wouldn’t even be here on this island together.

  I smile as I’m surrounded by the now-familiar soft-blue glow. “I’ve heard there are some temples nearby,” I tell him slyly. “You know… if you’re interested.”

  By the way he sprints with me into the jungle, I can safely say that he’s interested.
