Building The Empire,
p.5
“Hey, babies. You all look really happy.”
“We are. Can we make love to both of you now?”
“Please.”
They smile really big and bend down to start loving on us. Sam pulls me into a kiss, while Shannon starts kissing Awenasa, and Madison alternates between us, kissing and sucking our necks and breasts. The three of them move between us, giving us deep passionate kisses and painting our bodies with their lips and tongues. Their hands caress, tease, and squeeze every sensitive spot, increasing our breathing, and making our bodies rise in need, visibly begging them to enter us between our thighs.
Shannon and Madison start to move down between our thighs, but I grab them and reposition everyone. They grin and bite their lips as they realize my intentions. I get Sam on her knees between Awenasa and I, pull Shannon up to straddle my face, facing my body, and I pat Madison’s ass, coaxing her up to straddle Awenasa’s face, facing her body. Awenasa and I glide our hands up Sam’s thighs and enter her together as we pull Madison’s and Shannon’s bowls of nectar onto our faces. They release beautiful deep moans and quickly drop forward, burying their faces between our thighs.
While Awenasa and I play between her legs with our hands, Sam runs her own hands over all of our bodies, massaging breasts, kneading nipples, and smacking and massaging Madison’s and Shannon’s asses.
One by one, we cum within moments of each other and our girls crumble into a heap on top of us, panting for air. They slowly wiggle off of us and reposition to lay on us with their heads on our chests and we wrap our arms around them.
“I liked that position, a lot.” We smile at Sam and she kisses each of us with a big happy smile. “That’s good, baby. I missed having family time with all of you.”
My phone starts ringing, startling all of us, and we laugh a little, before Shannon hops up out of bed to grab it from the bathroom for me.
“Quick, its Russel Stone’s office.”
She leaps across the bed and Sam scrambles to get off my chest so I can take the call.
“Hello?”
“Kayla Johann?”
“Yes.”
“Great. Jaime, are you still on the line?”
“I’m here.”
I pull my phone back from my ear and turn it on speaker, but put my finger to my lips so my girls know not to say anything.
“Kayla and Jaime, I’m Vivian and I’m calling on behalf of Russel Stone. Are you both back home or are you still on the road?”
“We’re home.”
“Fantastic. Russel wants to start introducing you to the nation as the stars of the show. Before we get into big promotional commercials with fancy ballroom gowns and tuxedos, he wants something very candid, sort of a ‘day in the life of’. We want to have a camera crew come and record you at home and in the dance studio rehearsing. Kayla, we want your whole family to be in a portion of the video as well. Russel wants the nation to be able to know both of you on a more intimate level. How does Saturday look for you?”
Neither of us say anything at first. I just look at my girls, not really sure how to answer. Each of them nudge my arms and motion at the phone for me to answer.
“Uh, how intimate does he want to get? What exactly does he want to see in this?”
“Just what your day is like. We don’t need a full tour of your living spaces, but how you start your day together, dinner together, if you have favorite places around town to spend time together – those sorts of things.”
“Ok, Saturday should be fine if that’s good for Jaime.”
“I can do Saturday.”
“Perfect. I’ll send you both a confirmation time for the camera crew to meet you at the dance studio and then they can follow you to your homes and any special hangout places around your home town that you’d like to take them. We’re looking to fill a full half hour segment with this, so don’t be shy. Also, be sure to look sharp in your rehearsals, but look like you’re having fun. Don’t perform any special tricks that you may use in your dances for the show though. You don’t want to give your competition an edge. Any questions?”
Jaime and I both say, no, and she closes the call with a cheerful goodbye and a promise to have the confirmation time sent to us in the next day or two. Before I can set my phone down, its ringing with Jaime calling through.
“Hey, Jaime. Ready to get intimate with America?” She laughs. “Hell no. And you are not ready to rehearse real ballroom dances in front of the camera. We need to get to work.”
“Damn, my ego felt that one.” She laughs a little, but I hear her also take a deep breath. “This is really happening, isn’t it?”
“Yeah, it is. How bad do you think it’s going to be?”
“I don’t know. I’m shaking right now. We only have three days before those cameras come to invade our lives and show all of those other dancers what kind of talent and dynamic we have as a dance couple.”
“When do you want to start training?”
“You’re freaking out right now, aren’t you?”
“A little bit. Your creative dance is incomparable, but you have so much to learn to be able to do the standard pieces. It’s great that the competition level we’ll be in allows us to be creative and make the dances our own, but you still have to be able to execute them so they’re recognizable as a samba, or tango, or whatever to the judges. You learn incredibly fast, but I’m just realizing for the first time the huge disadvantage you have right now. All of these people that we’ll be up against have been training in these styles and forms for years. They literally will be the best in the country at ballroom dance.”
“Having a huge disadvantage doesn’t concern me. I’m not afraid of failing because of my inexperience. You and I have the skill to make this happen, regardless of how much better those other dancers’ resumes may appear.”
“You’re not scared of losing?”
“Nope. I know we’re going to win. That million-dollar prize money is going to be ours.”
“Oh, my god. I forgot about that. Why are you not freaking out right now?” I laugh a little and shake my head. “Hang on a second.” I mute the phone and look up at my girls, but before I can even ask, Shannon says, “Ask her to come over so you can work out a plan for the video.” I smile and kiss her lips. “Thanks, baby.”
Jaime accepts immediately and we quickly climb out of bed and get dressed into some pajamas and sweats. Jaime is already knocking before we get down the hallway from the bedroom. I open the door and laugh a little.
“Damn, girl. I’ve never seen you look nervous before. Get in here.” She blushes a little, and as she steps inside, she drops her purse just inside the door, and wraps her arms around me, burying her face in my neck. “I’m sorry.”
“For what?” She lifts her head and looks in my eyes. “I’m not worried about you being able to do this. I’m worried about myself. But my denial of my insecurities assigned my doubt to your inexperience.”
“Why are you doubting yourself? You’ve won these without me and we’ve now won two ballroom competitions together. And honestly, we fucking killed that one before we left town.”
She laughs a little and rests her forehead against the top of my chest a moment, before slowly looking up at me with teary eyes.
“I thought I was done with these big dreams. When I settled down here two years ago, and bought the studio, I thought I was washed up. I thought the most I could hope to accomplish in my dance career was to teach and to win some local competitions sometimes. Then you walked into my studio and asked if I need a partner.”
I smile and she places her hands on the sides of my face, looking deep into my eyes. The pads of her thumbs gently glide over my cheekbones, before she glides her hands down to rest against the sides of my neck.
“Why do you believe in my dreams more than I do? You could have any dancer by your side in this competition. Women all over the country would flock to be your partner. Why do you want me?”
I take her left hand in my right hand and place my left hand on her hip. I pull her in close, and she smiles as she leans in to rest her face against the side of mine. I start guiding her in a slow dance, waltzing around the living room and dining room. To a silent song that only I can hear in my own head, we dance as if we’re in a dancehall. She follows my lead perfectly, stepping, twisting, twirling, and swaying with me. I lift and spin her, dip her, and hold her close. I lift and flip her over my back, spinning her around to the front of me to cradle her in my arms and she wraps her arms around my neck and rests her head on my chest as I continue my dance with her in my arms. I set her down, spin her out away from me, and then back into me, holding her in my arms from behind. I gently kiss the side of her neck and turn her back to face me.
“That’s why.” She smiles really big and throws her arms around me. She kisses my cheek and lays her head on my shoulder. “Thank you for helping me to dream again.”
“Does this mean you’re not scared anymore and you believe in us again?” She lifts her head to look in my eyes. “Yes. I think we can win this. But we have a problem.”
“What’s that?”
“A day in the life of Jaime Monroe is very boring compared to a day in the life of Kayla Johann and her family of beautiful women.” I laugh really hard and she smiles affectionately, before playfully punching me in the arm. “Are you laughing at my boring life?” I laugh hard again, stepping back clutching my stomach. “Oh, my god. You’re crazy. You teach dance all day and night, and recently you joined a gypsy caravan of traveling dancers. What’s boring about that?”
Everyone laughs, but Jaime shakes her head smiling.
“When they say, more intimate, they’re hoping for something more personal. Take all of you for example. You cook together, work together on the business, you go for hikes in the woods together, and you even dance together. You have this adorable dynamic of doing all of these interesting things together. I’m single and have been for a while. And my schedule doesn’t allow me to see friends very often. My personal life is very boring.”
“So, hanging out with me is boring? Damn, I thought I was good company.” Jaime laughs and smiles affectionately. “You are, but I think they’re hoping for my life away from you.”
“Well, they’ll have to get over it. They’re only going to see what we want them to see. We didn’t sign up to give them total access to every second of our lives.”
“They’re just going to see me as this old washed up dance teacher hanging onto the arm of this suave young rising star who’s stealing the hearts of women all over the world.”
I laugh so hard that I fall backwards onto the couch clutching my stomach.
“Oh, shit. You really lost it. You really just fucking called yourself old. Oh, my god.” Everyone laughs and Jaime looks at me with a brilliant smile. “I’m six years older than you, Kayla.”
“So, what? Shannon is four years older than me and she’s sexy as hell. Your extra two years doesn’t throw you into an old lady category.”
“Are you saying, I’m sexy as hell?”
“Yeah. Wait. Hey, you tricked me!” Everyone laughs really hard and my cheeks blush beet red. “You’re a brat.” Jaime smiles really big and plops down next to me on the couch, taking my hand in hers. “Thank you. So, what dance do you want to pretend to rehearse for the cameras on Saturday?”
My girls join us on the couch with amused smiles. I take a deep breath and shake my head, trying to recover from that verbal slip.
“Well, if we don’t want to tip off our competition, why don’t we just stick with the dance we did for the last competition since it was already on TV?”
“So, the samba. Sounds good to me. What else are we going to do in this video?”
“Well, what’s a day in the life of Jaime Monroe like?”
“I start my day with a run, work out, and dance. While I’m eating breakfast, I go through my emails. After my shower, I go into the studio and teach, all day. During my breaks, I do office admin work, plans for classes, and create choreography for my students showcases for their parents. When I go home, I shower, cook dinner, watch a movie or read a book, and then go to bed. Sometimes, I meet a few friends for dinner or a movie. What’s a day in the life of Kayla Johann like?”
I smile and look at my babies, who are watching Jaime and I with adorable grins.
“I start my day early with Shannon while the others sleep in and I cook us breakfast while she’s getting ready for work. We usually eat on the balcony so we don’t wake the others. Then after I see her off to work, I climb back into bed and hold the others till they wake up. If Madison and Sam have early classes, Awenasa and I make breakfast while they shower and get ready. If they don’t have to leave early, all of us work together. They either leave for school or work on homework or business stuff, while I work out or work on choreography. When Shannon comes home, we make dinner together or go out to eat and have date nights.”
“What do you do on date nights?”
“Aside from the normal stuff, like going to dinner or the movies, we decorate our own cupcakes at a place on Oliver Street, the arcade sometimes, walks around campus talking while we eat ice cream, and go to the pond and stare up at the stars, just to name a few. Oh, if it’s not too dark or it’s a weekend, we make ‘daytime fireworks’ together.”
“Sounds really nice. What are ‘daytime fireworks’ and how do you make them?”
I smile and quickly explain how we fill balloons with powder die, then fill them with helium, and then shoot them out of the sky with a BB gun, making them burst into a vibrant cloud. She smiles through the entire explanation. When I finish, she slides over closer and lays her head on my shoulder.
“What should we show them though?”
“I don’t know. When we list it out like we did, my day sounds pretty damn boring too, except for the moments with my babies.”
“So, we’ll just let the camera crew follow your girls around so we don’t put the American people to sleep.” My girls laugh and have big adorable smiles lighting up their faces. “That works. They really are way more interesting than I am.”
“Shut up, you two are not boring.” Sam reaches out and playfully kicks my knee, making all of us laugh again. “If you think we’re so interesting, why don’t you tell us how we should do this?”
Jaime releases my hand and turns slightly to face my girls on my other side. She surprises all of us a little as she puts her arm around my shoulders and entwines her other hand in mine on my thigh. My girls share a look and smile, before they start throwing out ideas for what kind of candid journey we should take the camera crew through. After an hour of bouncing ideas off of each other, we have a pretty good plan in place.
“Ok, that was exhausting. I need dessert now.” My girls smile at me and Shannon sits forward some. “Anything particular you want?” I smile at her as I scan her body and she blushes and laughs in a nervous way as she looks down for a moment. “Something from the kitchen, maybe?” I laugh a little and shrug a shoulder. “Fine. I’m craving brownies with ice cream and hot fudge.” Everyone releases a small moan and Shannon laughs as she stands up. “Ok, sweetie. I’ll make some brownies.”
“Should I go?”
“No, you can stay.”
Jaime smiles at Shannon and sits back, leaning in closer to me. Awenasa follows Shannon to the kitchen to help her and Madison and Sam close the gap between themselves to sit next to each other. Sam takes Madison’s hand and holds it in her lap. Both of them have small smiles, but they also look like they’re trying to read Jaime.
Jaime’s ease of being affectionate has intrigued them from the first day I met her. But Jaime has never tried to touch me, kiss me, or flirt with me, so it doesn’t seem to bother them. They seemed a little concerned about our closeness after our first ballroom dance competition, but quickly realized there was nothing to worry about.
“Did you get your errands and stuff done today?”
“For the most part. How was your hike?”
“Amazing. Have you ever been to Arizona?”
“Nope.”
“Do you want to?”
“It depends.” She’s smiling, but I can’t tell what she’s thinking. “On what?”
“On who I’m with.” I laugh and nudge her with my arm. “Obviously, I mean with us, brat.” She flashes a brilliant white smile while looking in my eyes with her glittering gold eyes. “Well, in that case, I’d love to. Where in Arizona?”
“I hope you can handle roughing it for a week. We’ll be staying in a tiny shack in the middle of the desert that’s only accessible by a small aircraft or donkey. We’re planning on the donkeys so we can really experience the landscape.” They laugh really hard and Jaime shoves me over, making me laugh. “We’re going to the Navajo Reservation.” Jaime smiles and pulls me back up to a sitting position, loops her arm in mine, and entwines her fingers with mine. “That sounds like fun. They have really pretty art, especially the pottery and blankets.”
“Yeah, we’ll probably need an extra donkey just to carry all of the stuff I want to buy.” Jaime laughs and shakes her head. “You’re going to make us ride on donkeys, aren’t you?”
“Probably. Sam has always wanted to go to Arizona because it’s like a Mecca for geologists, so we’ll have to take at least one hike so she can geek out over the rocks.”
They laugh and Sam grins at me like she wants to kiss me. Awenasa and Shannon come back and sit on either side of Sam and Madison, placing a hand on their thighs.
“So, you’re coming with us?”
“Yes, but how are we going to do a choreography event there?”
“We’re not. We’re going to do one local the weekend before we leave. I could still use your help though if you’re interested.”
“Yeah, of course. Will you be coming in tomorrow to start training?”
“Ok, boss. What time?”
