Afterword
Man Made God 005 is currently the longest volume of the series. There’s a lot going on and so much more that I wanted to add, but it was becoming so long I needed to find a good place to end it. I hope no one minds the ending being on a small hook for the next volume.
This is one of the hardest series to write for me. I’m not good with numbers. Any time a story involves precise calculations and numbers, I just get lost. It’s bad enough when I have to write out measurements, but stats? Yeah. I’m screwed. Despite that, I am doing my best.
I think 005 had the most plot twists of the entire series so far. You could probably combine all the previous four volumes and they still wouldn’t be as twisty as this one. Lilith got with Adam, the Pleonexia Alliance got their ass handed to them in a Guild War, Lexi is alive, and Levon has finally discovered Adam’s identity IRL. With everything going on, I do wonder what will happen next. What’s that? You say I should know what happens because this is my story? Dear reader, I am a pantser, not a plotter. Whenever I write, I write by sheer instinct, leaping keyboard first into the fray without a second thought as to what sort of word vomit is going to come out next. I almost never know what I am going to write until I actually sit my ass down and write it.
Anyway, while I am a pantser, I do have some ideas about the next volume. They aren’t fully formed plans and I might just trash them and do something else, but I have ideas. Oh, do I have ideas. I’m sure they’re bad ones, but I like to think most of my ideas are bad, so there.
One thing I want to focus on will be what’s happening with Adam, Fayte, and Susan now that Adam has been separated from the two. There was a lot of drama between Adam and Fayte this volume. I would like to resolve that by the end of volume 6.
Anyway, I got some last minute thank yous to give.
