He could agree to that, and he started to extrapolate all the coordinates on the eleven remaining battleships. Two in each of the six fleets, minus the one that was already destroyed with the Royal’s self-destruct.

The two battleships in each fleet comprised a full quarter of its throw weight, so who knows, the remaining ships might even sue for terms of surrender. Probably not, but it wouldn’t hurt. The Kingdom could use more ships now, and it would give them a look at all the latest tech in the Confederacy military.

  Chapter Thirteen

The battle was about to be joined, the ships closing with each other at around two thousand KPS, both armadas moving half that speed, which was pretty much sitting still in space terms. It would also allow for high maneuverability and wild changes in direction.

His plan had worked, at least in the beginning. They did manage to destroy five more of the battleships by teleporting mines, including the one hosting their highest ranked admiral and the so-called interim governor of the system. After the fifth enemy battleship had exploded, their whole fleet lunged forward as they activated their drive systems for a short candle burn.

It also made their odds a little better. The enemy’s six fleets were now down a full eighth of their throw weight, which might be enough to make up for the wizard power difference in their four mercenary fleets.

He was surrounded by his five ladies, even if only three of them could feed him power, he was still almost four times as powerful as usual, which would greatly increase the amount of power the battleship’s amplifiers brought to bear against the enemy.

They were in the central position toward the back, the rest of the fleet screening the two battleships. The frigates covered them, while they were covered by the destroyers and corvettes. The other two kingdom fleets were directly to the left and right of them in formation, while the two Carmichael fleets were on the starboard side of the formation and slightly ahead, while the Blackwood fleet was similarly set up on the port side.

The three of their fleets were spread out enough to cover all six of the enemies, the plan being for Blackwood and Carmichael to fold in and attack their flanks. It was no skirmish, and the largest battle the star kingdom had faced in a hundred years, since the Communion invasion.

A lot of people were about to die, on both sides, he just hoped he could minimize the deaths on their side. But his exalted status as a celestial would only skew the odds slightly in this battle involving thirteen fleets. There was only so much he could do. It was why celestials were usually put on smaller missions where they could make a great impact, but this battle was the battle for the kingdom, even the queen was involved. It all rode on how this battle turned out.

All he had to do was focus on the two fleets he’d been assigned. Of course, those two fleets would also be being attacked by one of the mercenary fleets from the flank, so it wouldn’t be as lopsided as all that against them. Except they would be taking most of those two fleets laser and missile fire.

Which meant focusing mostly on defense.

He couldn’t take the time to watch the rest of the battle, he’d be too busy on his part of it to take note of the rest of the field, and just had to trust the other fleets would be victorious. Otherwise, he’d find out when other enemy fleets started to target him.

If that wasn’t chaotic enough, there were several hundred fighters being launched by both sides, which were racing ahead of the fleets to engage.

When the moment came, the captain gave the order to fire missiles. He didn’t have those systems, so for the moment concentrated on defense. Until they reached ship to ship laser range, he’d be focusing all the laser banks on point defense and monitoring the shields. Enhancing the shields, but only when the shields were taking fire, which wouldn’t be easy in the chaos of such a large battle. Not like taking on a few ships in a skirmish at all.

The first missile volley on both sides was taken out without a single ship taking damage. Thousands of missiles launched and streaming across the gulf between them, only to be shot down just as fast. Of course, as the fleets closed, that distance would shorten as would the time the missiles took to arrive, at some point there wouldn’t be enough time to take them all out.

So for the moment, he was projecting easy confidence, and conserving all of their magic.

Operations reported, “Their missiles are ten percent faster than ours. The yields are similar. Ours on the other hand seem to have better countermeasures, it looks like they sacrificed maneuverability for speed.”

It would probably be a wash, tactically speaking. Their missiles were closing the distance faster, but the kingdom’s countermeasures could get a lock on them faster than theirs could get on the kingdom’s missiles.

On the third mass volley several hits were scored on both sides. No ships were destroyed, but several of their corvettes and destroyers had damaged shields. His military sensors were also showing several of the enemy’s ships in various shades of yellow to indicate their shield strength.

Realistically, whoever lost the smaller shielding vessels in their fleet first would lose. At the moment it was looking a lot like mutual annihilation, no one had the edge yet, but he trusted Kimberly’s plans.

Then they entered laser range, and space lit up around them as they chaos truly started. He pushed some magic into the shields, but not all that much yet, as he targeted a destroyer with a single bank of four eighteen-inch lasers while keeping the others on point defense duty.

The destroyer’s shields failed, and they were gutted, but still limping along, until a missile fired by one of the frigates took it out. It was the first ship to be destroyed, and it signaled the start of the chaos and death that day. War was hell, but he just had to focus on his job, and trust the ships around them to do the same. Past that… there was nothing else he could do.

Two missiles snuck past and struck the ship, but he’d absorbed it by enhancing the shield, and it’d taken no damage. It was a delicate balance, he needed to conserve his magic to last the whole battle, yet the more he put into the weapons to destroy the enemy ships the less incoming fire there would be.

The battle was a slug fest, there was really no other choices in a battle between such large fleets. The pilot was randomizing their vector to make getting a lock on them harder, but so was the enemy. It was all a wash, and about which crews and which ships were better prepared.

The battle dragged on, as ships continued to explode on both sides, but eventually the uneven number of battleships started to show. They had fourteen, while the enemy had six. In the beginning that advantage was outweighed slightly by them taking most of the fire, two to one. Except for the fact that also meant none of the mercenary ships were being taken out, so the level of fire from the flank hadn’t been impacted or lessened at all, and as the enemy lost ships they had that much less available lasers for their point defense grid across the fleet to defend from the same number of missiles.

While their grid was lessened as well, so was the throw weight of the enemy.

It almost happened all at once, when that slowly sliding scale of advantage tipped in their direction. The missile barrages devastated the enemy, while they were still keeping up, if barely, as he focused on defense and taking down enemy ships.

His ship had been hit a number of times, but with all four of their magic juicing the shields they were never truly in dire danger of taking damage to the actual ship. Even the other battleships with a single powerful wizard at tactical, seemed to be doing fine. They’d lost almost half their corvettes, one destroyer, and one frigate, when the enemy started to drop like flies.

From that point forward, to his relief, it was a cleanup effort, and despite his outward confidence his pounding heart started to recover.

Then the enemy broke off, and then accelerated on escape vectors. Those ships were quickly hunted and destroyed. Surrender would’ve been honored, but they couldn’t afford to let any of the enemy ships escape. The battle was over, all that was left was search and rescue efforts, and to start repairs on the ships they had left.

He loved the feel of her silky skin against his, his petite and seductive goddess queen, looking up along his body at him with her sexy dark brown eyes. Her soft dark brown hair was splayed across his chest and arm, as she laid on him and panted to recover her breath. She’d just ridden him hard and fast to his enjoyment, and he was lazily stroking her hair and back with his fingertips in the post buzz. They were still joined below as well.

It’d been a couple of hours since the battle ended, and his queen had quite thoroughly seduced and rocked his world, obviously worked up from the post adrenaline crash and the fact they were still alive.

Gods, the heat below, the warmth of her, and the look in those seductive eyes with her lips slightly parted, had him recovering without magic. Instead of flagging and falling out, he filled her back up again with his twitching and recovered cock.

He rolled them, and thanks to her legs tightening around him like a vice he not only didn’t fall out, but he was still balls deep as he stared down into her eyes, which softened under his intense gaze. He gave her a small circle grind, that had them both letting out a breathy sigh of pleasure.

“I love you,” he said, absolutely mesmerized by her beauty, no matter how often he saw it. The face of a goddess of seduction, and the limber perfectly proportioned body of a late teen with B cups that stood up proudly despite being on her back. Her huge nipples tightened and digging into the skin of his chest. Her perfect light golden brown skin warm, silky, and so luxurious against his.

He was lost in her, his captivating queen.

She smiled, “I love you too, Dacen,” she said that last with a breathy gasp, as he ground into her a little harder.

Then he pulled out teasingly slow, his heart in his throat and his eyes baring his soul as he started to make love to his queen. Every small movement sent a powerful surge of pleasure all its own sparking through his body, that seemed to last for a momentary eternity. So sharp, so vulnerable, and so very poignant as he slowly pushed his way back into her luxuriously inviting heat.

She bit her lip, and she followed his lead. She started to roll her hips in a slow and exaggerated way, to match the loving pace of his stroking cock. She let out a breathy sigh, then as they came together put in a little squeeze and grind that was as pleasurable as it was almost painfully slow.

She shuddered on the edge, then gasped as her eyes widened. She came for him them, her eyes wide and staring into his. Sharing that vulnerability and passion with him in full measure. That first orgasm during their lovemaking wasn’t that large, but it was just the start.

He lived to see his ladies cumming around his cock, but it was never so poignant or impactful as when he was making love. He’d never felt closer to his queen, than in that moment, as Daniella quivered around him and trembled under him, her eyes an open portal to her love, ecstasy, and soul.

There was no dirty talk from his wickedly debauched queen, any talk at all would cheapen the intensity of what their bodies and eyes were sharing in that moment. In a lot of ways, it was more intense than a wild fuck, or even pounding her tight little ass was. He was utterly her creature in that moment, and he knew she was his. That didn’t mean they’d be making love all the time, it was very situational, and more often than not, she needed a pounding. But in that moment, she needed to be swept away and loved, cherished and adored, and he had all of that in him and more, for his queen.

They continued to rock their bodies together with a measured loving intensity that blew his mind, and each time Daniella went over the edge, she went over harder, longer, and was even more exquisitely breathtaking in the throes of heavenly bliss. He never wanted it to end, and he lost track of the time. It was only when she was on the edge of overstimulation, that he finally took his own pleasure inside the depths of her rapturous paradise.

She was trembling beneath him as he finished filling her, her body quaking with intense aftershocks, but her legs were also locked tight around him, as if loath to let him go.

She smiled, “I love being reamed in the ass, throat, and pussy, live for your cock taking me with authority, but I have to say that was… amazing too.”

  He snickered.

She giggled, and blushed, then finally let her legs fall from around him onto the bed. He pulled out slowly, and then pulled her tightly against him, careful not to touch any of her erogenous zones. She snuggled into him with a contented if slightly shaky sigh.

“With all six worlds successfully freed, and only enough enemy ships to form a patrol group having escaped from all six in total, I think we’re secure enough to send a message strong enough that they won’t try again. Not in my lifetime, anyway. Building an extra fleet per system will help, along with replacing the losses, but I really think we need to deliver that message.

“I need you to go on one more mission, it needs to be my knight delivering that message in person. Take your team on a battleship, and lead the four mercenary fleets. Aria has already taken out all their production capability in the two largest systems, but they have some in all nineteen of theirs. I want you to take out the military build platforms on their council world, and at least three others. I know the navy doesn’t always get along with you, but this can’t wait until your replacement Celestial warship is built.

“Then come home safe, and we’ll be married. I’m kind of looking forward to working on some heirs when you return, so don’t do anything stupid. If there is too much risk, hit another of their systems instead.”

He shook his head, “I’ll take out the build capacity in eleven more systems, without getting into a single space battle. I’m guessing that will still count as eleven more tactical missions for our mercenaries, but they’ll be little more than a statement. We should also build the counter to what I’m attempting on all of our spaceships and especially our space stations and build platforms.”

She looked confused for a moment, then widened her eyes, “You’re going to teleport mines to the build platforms, and destroy them from the FTL line?”

“Yes, I’ll also come in on random vectors, instead of the most efficient spot to drop from FTL, just in case they try to set up ambushes in the later attacks. It will hardly matter, since I won’t be going in system or taking risks. It should also be extremely effective, since build platforms are not mobile as rule, outside of their station keeping systems. It might take more than a single mine depending on their shielding, but they won’t be able to avoid them. Anyway, doing that will give others the idea, and I’m sure they have more celestials, two to four at least and we don’t want them blowing up our twenty-two new fleets while they’re still being built.

“As you know, I developed a teleport inhibiting wave spell. I should be able to design a wizard device that does the same in a couple of days, while the enemy will take a long time to figure it out from scratch and implement it, assuming they even have an expert on teleportation magic. The fleet and space stations can fabricate them, and then install them on the tactical station to be powered constantly by whoever is on duty. Even a weak wizard could prevent a teleport with it, it’s not a question of power, with the field active even I couldn’t do it. Anyway, I’ll make sure that’s in place before we go, it should only take a day or two, and will prevent a similar counterattack.”

She nodded, “That’s better than what I wanted, and it means worrying less about you, so do it.”

“I should be back in a month, maybe a little longer.”

She grinned, “That’ll give me time to set up the wedding.”

He spanked her ass, “Can’t wait, Dani.”

He flipped her over, already hard at the thought. It’d been a couple of days since he’d given her a harsh ass fucking and pounded her into blissful oblivion in her tight little ass. He used a spell to summon the lube, while pinning down his squirming queen so she couldn’t escape.

She loved it of course, his queen hated to beg, and with his body magic he’d always know when she was ready for another surprise ass reaming. Damn, she was so sexy, and he adored her petite bubbled ass. Before he lubed and fucked it, his mouth watered as he decided to stick his face in it…

  Epilogue

  Six months later…

The mission had gone well, and the confederacy had fallen over itself to sue for peace and treaty negotiations. Peace had been restored to the galaxy, at least for their generation and in regard to interstellar governments. There would always be spies, pirates, and other smaller troubles to keep an eye on.

The wedding had been a stupendous affair, and Daniella more stunning than ever in her elaborate white wedding dress.

He missed Allison, she was off as an agent of the government, troubleshooting problems. Perhaps one day she’d be ready to settle down, and she just might want to join his other concubines. Riesa, Leanne, and Gia had become his concubines, and they shared his marital bed nightly, the queen wouldn’t have it any other way, and neither would he.

He’d also managed to knock the rest of them up, save Riesa of course, but even she was pregnant via artificial insemination, and he couldn’t give a shit that the kid wouldn’t share his DNA. He was just as thrilled and excited with her pregnancy as the rest.

  There were also some challenges.

They’d found proof against four of the dukes that were involved in the insurrection, and those had been executed and replaced, but they suspected there were at least four or more left that they hadn’t been able to tie to any evidence. On the good side, they really weren’t expecting them to try again, not anytime soon.

It also looked like Wilde had gotten away with it as well. When the fleets to punish her arrived at Proposition, only two of the three mercenary groups were still there. Wilde had pulled out, and gone home. She’d even dismantled the factories on the moon that had been building the mines, missiles, and laser banks. Well, they couldn’t win them all, and they imagined she was somewhere back in confederacy space trying to rebuild their build infrastructure which he’d destroyed.
