“I like it. I think it could work. I mean there are a bunch of things to renovate and I kind of need to get a contractor in here to make sure my guestimates are right, but overall I think I can turn this into the book store and café I imagined.”

  Bubba stepped closer.

  “We could maybe open up these windows to allow more natural light in, and then over by the kitchen, what if you took out that closet and made that space the ordering line, and then people could move to the left, seeing your desserts and things in glass display cases and the register at the end?” he asked, shocking her.

  “Bubba, you’ve been listening to me all this time but pretending not to like the girly decorating stuff?” she asked, smiling and her heart lifting with joy.

  He pulled her close and his brothers joined him.

  “We’ve all been listening and hoping that you might find the place to make your dreams a reality,” Thor said.

  “Oh, but my dreams, my greatest happiness is already a reality,” she told them.

  “It is?” Philippe asked.

  “What is it?” Channing asked.

  “The four of you,” she said. And Bubba lifted her up, hugged her tight, and then twirled her around in the center of the room.

  “We’ll help you every step of the way, baby. We love you,” he said and she smiled.

  “And I love all of you.”
