Jordan gasped. “You sold your house! You love that house!”
Bray smiled, knowing right then and there he’d made the right decision. “I do, but I love you both more.”
He was slammed against the front door as two bodies collided with him, and he laughed, holding them close. “I’ve put your names on the documents, too. This is our house, not mine.” Tears soaked into his shirt, and he held them tighter. “I love you.”
“What about Smudge?”
Bray snorted. “If she’s that eager to see me, she’ll find her way, I’m sure. But there will be other suckers she’ll find to feed her.”
They finally headed back home and spent the rest of the day soaking in the family atmosphere. Their new house would make it ten times easier to host family gatherings, and there was an extra room for when Kit and Noah wanted to stay, or anyone else for that matter.
After dinner, the grandparents had taken over. Kit and Noah had guided Paula, Loretta and Maggie out of the house, offering to take them home, so Bray threw his car keys to them. He knew they’d stay the night and visit again the following day. Ama was kidnapped by Mattie’s parents, and Cody was staying with Ronnie and Carl for the night. Both Jordan and Ash got to have a kid-free night.
When everyone had gone, and there was nothing but silence, they stared at each other.
“I don’t know whether to sleep or have sex,” Jordan said, and they burst into laughter.
“The cleaning up can wait until tomorrow, Mattie,” Bray said, steering him to the stairs. “I have plans.”
He planned to shower, get naked, and into bed. Lying in bed with his men was the best feeling in the world—except for his kids hugging him.
“Oh, by the way,” Jordan said, “I found something…” He reached over to the bedside table and pulled a yellow piece of material from the drawer, holding it up. He raised his eyebrows at Mattie. “I think I found my yellow tank top.”
Mattie buried his face in the pillow, and Bray wanted to know why. When he asked, Jordan said, “It went missing a little while ago, and I thought I’d left it somewhere. Couldn’t for the life of me find it. Until today. You’re a sneaky little man, Mattie Evans.” He dropped it back over the edge of the bed and tickled Mattie, who squirmed to get away.
“I’m sorry! I just wanted something of yours!” he panted.
Jordan stopped his attack and slid his arms around them both. “You’re welcome to it.”
After a few seconds of silence, Mattie said, “I might need you to wear it a bit again, though.”
“Why?” Jordan asked.
“It doesn’t smell like you anymore.” He turned to Bray. “And I want something of yours, too.”
He wrapped his arm around them both and kissed whatever skin he could reach. He had designed a plan to seduce his men, but instead, he found he wanted to hold them. So he did.
“Whatever you want.”
And as they fell asleep, one by one, despite nothing sexual happening, he was the happiest man alive.

Jason doesn’t have the strength to fight his stepfather for a happy life, so, to stop the man from turning his fists and words to his younger siblings, he takes the brunt of his anger himself. He vows to get those children away from him as soon as possible. Then, when there is one bruise too many for his best friend eyes, they come up with a plan for a fake boyfriend for Jason—someone who’s really a bodyguard.
Darius doesn’t get asked to the royal family’s domain often, but he doesn’t say no when he is. Being asked to be a fake boyfriend is far from usual, but he’s happy to do it if it means he gets to spend time—and protect—the man he can’t stop staring at. When things don’t quite go the way Jason hopes, Darius offers another option. One that might backfire. But with Darius at his side, Jason finds more strength than he ever thought possible.
And maybe, he might’ve found the one person who could give him his happily ever after.
This is an MM bodyguard romance that spans both the Club Royal and Guarding Royalty series.

ROGUE ROYAL TEASER
MAVERICK
Mav rubbed at his temple with his fingers and thumb, closing his eyes at the brightness in the room. How he wished he could’ve retreated to bed and pulled the covers over his head for the next two days.
“What’s wrong?”
Douglas’s voice was closer than Mav expected it to be, and he startled, nearly dropping the tablet.
“A headache. I’m fine.” Mav tried for a smile.
Douglas’s eyes narrowed. “Have you taken anything for it?”
Mav’s cheeks heated. “Yes, although I have to let it run its course. It won’t stop me from doing my job.”
Douglas’s forehead creased. “I never thought it would, but you also shouldn’t be working if it’s bad. Why don’t you take the rest of the day off?”
“I’m fine, Your Highness.”
“I insist. In fact, let me help you. I have experience with head massages. It will help to alleviate some of the pain if you’ll allow me.”
Mav didn’t think he could manage with Douglas touching him. “Honestly, Your Highness, I’m—”
“If you say fine, I won’t be pleased because I know you’re lying.”
Mav closed his eyes and inhaled through his nose to stop from saying something he’d regret. And to stop a shiver running down his spine from becoming visible. That voice. “It will go away on its own.”
Douglas worked his jaw from side to side. “It’s a migraine, isn’t it?”
Mav sighed and gave a dismissive wave of his hand. “Yes, which is why it will go away in time. I’m used to it, Your Highness.”
“How often do you get them?”
Mav didn’t want any information to get out that would stop him from doing his job, so he remained silent. Douglas narrowed his eyes again.
“Right, come on. Back to your room, and I will give you a head massage. You can sleep for a few hours afterwards.”
“Your Highness, please. I promise I’m fine.”
“It’s not up for debate, Maverick. Lead the way.”
The tone brooked no argument, and with a heavy sigh, Mav pivoted so he didn’t lose his balance and aimed for his room. He’d never had the prince in his room before; it was kind of surreal. Another bout of nausea hit, and he breathed.
A hand touched his elbow. “Are you all right?”
Mav didn’t answer for a few seconds. “Yes. The nausea comes and goes.” More information he hadn’t meant to give Douglas. With all the issues Mav was exposing, Douglas would have all the evidence he needed to get him fired.
His nerves grew as they approached his door, and he tried again to dissuade Douglas, but it was no good. Mav opened his door and indicated for Douglas to enter.
Douglas glanced around the room, then pointed to a burgundy chaise lounge. “If you sit there with a cushion behind your lower back and rest your head on the cushioned side, I will be able to reach easily.”
Mav hesitated but placed the tablet on the table and took the seat, pausing again before moving a cushion as Douglas asked. He had no idea what he was doing, but he couldn’t stop. He told himself it was because he wanted the headache to go.
He clenched his jaw and breathed heavily as another roll of sickness washed over him. Laying back, he rested his head on the side of the chaise lounge. Mav stared at the ceiling and waited for further instructions, running his thumbs over the soft fabric beneath him. When none came, he moved his head to watch what Douglas was doing. The prince was returning from the bathroom with a washcloth, and Mav frowned. As Douglas came closer, Mav had trouble breathing.
Douglas picked up a chair and carried it to behind where Mav lay, and Mav returned his head to stare at the ceiling.
“I’m going to place this warm flannel over your eyes. The heat should help, as will the darkness. Then I will massage certain points on your head and your hands.”
“This is too much.”
“After everything you have put up with from me, this is the least I can do.”
That shut Mav up. He’d never expected Douglas to care about how much work he was causing Mav. He lay the flannel over his eyes, leaving his nose and mouth free. Immediately, the heat seeped into his skin, and he felt a loosening in the tension of his body.
“That’s it. Relax for me.”
Douglas’s voice rolled over him, and Mav sighed. He doubted this would work, but if Douglas wanted to try, Mav would let him.
Soft fingers threaded through his hair, pressing mildly into his scalp. He lost track of how long this carried on for before Douglas moved to press against a point in the centre of Mav’s forehead. The pressure lasted for several minutes, moving to the corners of his eyebrows, at the top of his nose, on either side. After, Douglas moved to his ears, pressing against different areas.
With every action, Mav relaxed further until he was limp as a noodle, and Douglas was back to massaging his scalp. He didn’t know if it was because he couldn’t see, but every time Douglas moved his hand, Mav tingled everywhere, and goosebumps skated over his skin.
Douglas removed his hands, and Mav might’ve whimpered, though he would forever deny it. He heard a soft sound, then a warmth encased his right hand, and he realised it was Douglas’s hand. Douglas turned Mav’s hand palm up and put pressure between his thumb and forefinger. It continued for several moments, and Mav wouldn’t have been able to move if he tried.
His muscles jerked when something began tracing the fingers and palm of his hand. It tickled, but also…didn’t. It was as if a small current was trickling along his skin, leaving behind more tingles.
Several minutes later, Douglas replaced his hand on his lap, and his left hand was lifted and subjected to the same ministrations.
When Douglas spoke, he sounded far away, “Let’s get you into bed.”
Mav felt hands sliding under his body, and he tried to argue, but he was too tired. He could scarcely hold his own head up. The sheets were cool through his clothes, the pillows chilled beneath his head, and he absently noticed Douglas removing his shoes. The flannel was still over his eyes, though it, too, had cooled.
Douglas pulled a cover over him as he sank closer to slumber. He tried to wake up enough to speak to Douglas, but his body was too far gone.
“Sleep. Rest. Relax.”
And it was the last thing he remembered.

ABOUT ELOUISE EAST
Elouise East writes sweet and steamy connections in gay romance. She also touches on taboo stories under the name Elouise R East.
Books that tell the stories where friendship and family are the focal point - be it blood family or chosen - are very important to her. That’s why she includes a variety of personalities, talents, ages, situations and abilities as she believes a story or character needs. She wants her characters to be real, to be relatable, to be free to have whatever views they tell her they have. And trust her, most of the time, she does not have any say in the matter!
Her characters come to life on the page for her as well as her readers. Their stories unfold in front of her as she writes, and she has very little input into how they want to be shown. Just like real life, the lives of her characters change with every choice, every interaction and every conversation. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.
She writes books that are emotionally realistic, even if liberties are taken with other aspects of the stories. She doesn’t know any other way to write. It comes from deep inside.
Who is she? A single parent to two children living in the UK. An avid reader who still tries to devour every book she can get her hands on. A student of learning about any subject that takes her fancy. An author of books she would read herself. And a romantic at heart who loves anything cheesy.
Who’s joining her on her journey?
Stalk her here… ;-)
