When I can maintain a thought once more, I ask her, “My cum is in your mouth?” She nods, lips sealed shut as I slide out. “Good,” I say, once again using her hair to maneuver her back to my brother.

“Now Iain is going to add his, and remember, you may not swallow or spit. Hold both of us in that dirty mouth. You can do that, can’t you?” She nods again, and I push her towards Iain’s weeping cock. When she opens to take him in, a trickle of my creamy cum spills down her chin, but soon enough he’s plugged her hole.

Iain’s faster to the draw than I am, pumping furiously into her. As she waits for his contribution, her cheeks bulge slightly, full of my release. Her hair serves as my grip as I push her against him, feeling the rhythm as he thrusts, until his motions become uncoordinated and unsteady. Incoherent shouts escape from him until his hips punch forward, burying himself in her as he unloads.

His cock visibly pulsates as she sucks on him, spasming against her lips, until he moves again and ensures he drains every drop into her.

I sink to my knees on the plush rug before her and tug her to the edge of the couch. Her body welcomes my touch, soaked and warm, as I slide my fingers inside her. “Still got all that cum in your mouth?” I ask her as she watches me, her cheeks stuffed full as she nods. “Great,” I growl, leaning closer to her as my fingers push deeper. “Now give it to me.”

The noise that comes from Iain is a mix of shock and unrestrained enthusiasm. Her eyes get wide as I drag her mouth to mine, sealing our lips together as I kiss her, the salty thickness passing between us. I pull it all into my mouth and separate us, watching as creamy white liquid trickles down her chin.

Her eyes never leave mine as I lift her legs and rest them on my shoulders, gripping her hips and tilting them up. My lips part, and everything we filled her with drips from me into her, and she lets out a loud, desperate moan as it pours between her thighs.

“Alright, sweet Regan,” I say since my mouth is free again, “you have both of us inside you, so now it’s your turn.”

I dive straight for her clit, my tongue taking charge as I lick her with an unyielding onslaught. Her body writhes and gasps, the sensation almost too extreme for her to handle.

Almost, but I’m learning nothing is too much for her.

As I hold on to her hips, my grip tightens, hoisting her up and drawing her against me. My shoulders become her anchor as she grinds against my face. Using as much pressure as I can muster, my tongue pushes against her clit and makes long, sweeping movements, quickening the tempo as she tenses.

Her cries echo through the room as I plunge my tongue in, reveling in the beat of her constricting around me. I pull back out and swirl around her clit again, slower this time, allowing her to set the pace as she rolls her hips against me.

Finally, she pulls away, and I gently guide her legs to the solid ground. As she catches her breath, a considerable mess of our combined fluids drips from her, forming a puddle on the floor.

“Shit, brother,” Iain says, and my eyes snap to him in question. “I didn’t think you had that in you, but that was hot as fuck.” I offer him a quiet chuckle before redirecting my attention to Regan.

Once I climb onto the couch, I help her sit and get comfortable, her head nuzzling into my chest. “That wasn’t too much, was it?” I ask as I plant a kiss on her temple.

“No,” she pants, her breath still ragged from the adrenaline of what just happened. “That was fucking incredible.” Without thinking, I summon a warm towel and clean her off first, wiping her gently so not to overstimulate her. As I’m cleaning myself, she frowns at the towel in my hands, and I realize what I’ve done.

Before she can ask questions or I can try to explain myself, Iain’s voice rings out. “Who the hell is that outside?” A man circles the only car in our parking lot, one that’s been sitting there since last night.

  Hers.

Regan’s head whips over, and I watch as the color drains from her face. “Aaron,” she chokes. “That’s my ex… he’s found me.”

  Chapter 11

  Regan

  My eyes are deceiving me.

It’s the only plausible explanation—that I’ve lost my mind and I’m imagining things. Maybe I’ve been hallucinating this entire weekend, and my tryst with these two amazing, drop-dead-gorgeous brothers has all been in my head.

What if I never even left Aaron? If I’m still asleep in my old bed, and this is a dream?

Craig’s gentle voice interrupts my train of thought, his eyes scanning mine as I turn to meet his gaze, filled with a wild intensity. “He can’t get to you in here. You’re safe.”

The more I try to believe him, the more my mind is bombarded by a flurry of worst-case scenarios, leaving me in a downward spiral of doubt. “He owns a gun, and his temper is dangerous on his best days. If he comes in here…”

Iain saddles up on my other side, a comforting presence as I draw off his strength. “If he comes in here, we’ll handle him. He’s no match for the two of us, Regan, I can guarantee you that much.”

Frantically, I stand and search for my dress, the panic obvious in my darting eyes, until I finally locate it and pull it over my head. They both appear so calm, but they don’t understand what a short fuse he’s constantly running on—the ticking time bomb he carries inside himself.

The stress is so consuming that I can’t appreciate the sight of them both, naked from the waist down, as they don their kilts. “I couldn’t live with myself if I brought his kind of crazy into your lives… Fuck, I wish he’d…”

  “No!” they scream simultaneously.

  “… just move on.”

Their eyes widen in unison, their attention shifting rapidly between me and each other. Confusion washes over me as they whirl around in perfect sync, their sight fixed on the front of the building. My gaze follows theirs as Aaron does a double-take at the pub, his brow furrowing as he freezes. Then, his feet carry him towards us, and my heart races, threatening to burst out of my chest as he approaches.

Craig lets out a pained groan, his head sinking into his hand. “Well, looks like we get to have some fun,” he mutters as Iain nods. Craig glances at the door again, where Aaron is reaching for the knob. “Regan, whatever you do, don’t move a muscle.”

  “But what…”

“Listen to me!” he bellows, and my mouth snaps closed at the seriousness of his tone. “Be completely still. Do not even breathe if you can help it.”

They both turn their backs to me and walk over to the door right as it swings open. That bell rings through the room like a bullet, deafening.

“Can we help you?” Iain says, sounding almost bored.

“There’s a car out there.” Aaron’s familiar, grating voice strikes me like a physical blow. “I’m looking for the girl that drives it. She’s my girlfriend and I’m supposed to be meeting up with her, but it seems she’s wandered away.” His eyes sweep the room as the lie spills from his lips, and my gut churns while my head spins.

  I’m going to puke.

It’s as if I blend into the background as he scans, passing right over me without so much as a blink. “We haven’t seen anyone,” Craig responds, folding his arms across that barrel of a chest. “But if you want to leave your number, we’ll call you if she shows up looking for you.”

Aaron hesitates, knowing full well how I would respond to that message. More confused than ever before, I stand frozen in place. I’m standing right here, illuminated by the waning sun, directly in his line of sight.

What the actual fuck is going on?

“No, it’s fine,” Aaron finally says. He scratches his head for a second, glancing over his shoulder at my car. “You know, the weirdest thing just happened—when I first got here, I could’ve sworn this building was abandoned like the rest of the strip.”

Iain shrugs, then smacks Craig’s arm with the back of his hand. “Brother, how many times have I told you we needed to overhaul this place?” He shakes his head with a soft chuckle, returning his focus to Aaron. “Anything else we can help you with?”

Aaron flicks his attention back and forth between the brothers, scanning the room once more. I swear his piercing gaze locks onto my eyes, but again, he glides past me.

“No, that’s it.” Confusion covers his face as he speaks, sounding as though he’s thinking out loud. “I have this sudden urge to move on.”

He turns and walks out the door, the bell ringing again as the three of us watch him leave. In a daze, he climbs into his car and drives away. I don’t dare even twitch until he fades into the distance. Once he does, I storm over to the boys, who visibly recoil when they hear my angry strides.

“Someone better talk and explain to me what the fuck just happened.”

Neither of them speaks as they both avert their gazes and shuffle their feet like scolded children. “Now!” I screech, stomping my foot on the ground with a thundering crash.

Both of their eyes snap up to mine.

“Listen, I’m aware you’re keeping things from me, and that’s fine because you don’t owe me anything. But this is different—this is my life, and my safety, and I deserve to know what’s going on.”

“She’s right,” Craig’s deep voice rumbles, glancing between me and Iain. “Iain… brother… it’s time she knows.”

“Knows what?” My tone is quiet, but serious.

Iain’s frustrated sigh escapes through clenched teeth, the muscles in his jaw working overtime. “Why could Aaron not see me?” I demand, rethinking the bizarre encounter. “And why did he not see this building at first? What the hell is happening?”

“He didn’t see you because I put an enchantment on you,” Craig says, sounding defeated as my eyebrows climb up my forehead. “Similar to the one that is on the building, hiding it from sight.”

“Enchantment? Craig, you’re not making any sense.”

“We’re…” He hesitates again, chewing on the inside of his cheek as he heaves another loud sigh. “Regan, do you remember much about last night when you came in here?”

  “Yes, of course.”

  “What street were you on?”

I dig out the memory before saying, “Rainbow Street.”

He nods, his gaze flickering towards Iain, who wears a grim expression, but remains silent. “And what about the name of the pub? The only place it’s printed is on the menus.”

  “The Pot of Gold…”

“Pot o’Gold,” Iain mutters, earning a nasty glance from me.

  “Fuck, Regan… we’re leprechauns.”

I blink a few times, struggling to make sense of his words, but it becomes clear that one of two things is happening. I truly am experiencing hallucinations—major ones—or…

“Leprechauns?” I repeat, and Craig nods. “Leprechauns?” My voice is getting louder, and the smile that was creeping onto his face disappears at my tone. “Okay, fine. Treat me like I’m an idiot, that’s great. If you don’t want to tell me, don’t worry about it. I’ll just leave.”

I whip in the other direction, storming towards the stairwell, but a large hand seizes my arm. When I whirl around, I come nose-to-nose with Craig. “Let go of me,” I hiss.

A flicker of hurt passes over his face as his hand slides down to mine, and a sudden tingle tickles my palm as a bouquet of pink roses materializes. I stare at it, unbelieving, before meeting his eyes again. Without breaking eye contact, he extends his hand towards the bar, and a coffee mug flies across the room into his waiting palm.

The next wave of his hand causes Iain to disappear from my sight like he was never there. Craig’s arm drops limply by his side and Iain reappears, still with his arms crossed and expression sour.

“Leprechauns?” I whisper. Craig nods, tugging at my arm and pulling me to him. I relent, but just a little, edging closer. “But… leprechauns are tiny.”

A world of responses available to me, and that’s the one I go with.

Iain snorts, causing my attention to snap back to him. “Princess, is anything tiny about us?”

“Not everything you hear is truth, Regan,” Craig says, shooting Iain a dirty look.

“But… but if you’re here, hidden from the world in a pub that no one can see…” I get quiet, collecting my thoughts. “Why are you here, hidden from the world in a pub that no one can see? And further, how did I find it? How did Aaron?”

“Let me take those one at a time. We’re here because…”

“Craig!” Iain warns, the veins on his neck bulging in his anger.

Craig’s eyes shoot to him with a snarl. “She deserves the truth.” He regains his focus on me, clearing his throat as he begins once more. “We’re guardians. The whole ‘pot of gold at the end of the rainbow’ myth… well, there’s a lot of fact in that. Our magic is contained by the gold, and anywhere it’s stored, guardians are placed to keep it safe. As for why you found us…”

“We have no fucking clue,” Iain interjects. “But the reason your douche of an ex found us is because you made a wish. We’re wish-granters, and any time someone voices one out loud, it temporarily bypasses the magic we have in place.” The intensity of his accusing stare sends a surge of rage coursing through my veins. “When you said you wished he’d leave you alone, you gave him the ability to find us.”

“Don’t you dare put this on me!” I shout, causing his eyebrows to rise in shock. “You can’t blame me for breaking some fucking rule that you never told me about!” His lips pull into a straight line, creases bracketing his mouth in his frustration.

The unexpected jiggle from Craig makes me redirect my gaze towards him. “What do you remember about the day you found us?”

My lips pull between my teeth as I think. “My car broke down…” The realization comes to me in a sudden rush. “And I said I wish that things like this would stop happening to me.”

Craig nods, although Iain still looks annoyed.

“So, what, when you guys leave, you have to make a wish to come back?”

Their eyes dart to each other again. “We can’t leave,” Craig finally says. “We are bound here with our duty. As long as the gold remains, we remain.”

“Wait,” I interject, my mind spinning. They both look at me expectantly. “When I said I wish he’d move on… like, will that wish be granted?”

Craig nods, and Iain shoots him a surprised glance. “Yeah, I took care of that,” he says gently.

“You shouldn’t have done that,” Iain snaps, and my glare narrows on him. “He shouldn’t have done it!” he shouts, and I flinch, recoiling from his volume.

“What? Because I didn’t deserve some goddamned peace?” I can’t contain my anger any longer, so I shout right back at him, making his lips separate and nostrils flare. “After everything I’ve done for you—with you—since I got here, fuck me, right? I certainly don’t deserve some relief from the abusive dickhead that I fled from, right?”

Craig speaks up, tugging on me again. “Of course you deserve it, Regan.”

My arm wrenches free from his grasp, and he lets me go. I am aware that he is granting me my freedom because I’m not foolish enough to think I could escape from him otherwise. My eyes fall back on Iain, with that confident smirk on his lips. “Well, your brother certainly doesn’t agree with that.”

Tears pool in my eyes when he doesn’t argue, and Craig reaches for me again. “Don’t,” I snap, my voice brimming with uncharacteristic authority. “I just… I need some time.” With a heavy heart, I retreat, footsteps faltering as I make my way towards the stairs. A silent tear escapes, and I hastily wipe it away with the back of my hand.

“Just give me time alone,” I choke out, running up the stairs and slamming my door behind me. More tears stream down my face as I flip the lock, despite knowing it won’t do a bit of good if they decide they want to come in.

  Chapter 12

  Iain

The constant clenching of my jaw has given me a pounding headache, but I can’t seem to release the tension. My teeth haven’t stopped grinding since Regan ran upstairs, and now I stand in the hallway, attempting to hear Craig’s voice inside her room. No matter how hard I strain my ears, all I can pick up are faint tones and the occasional snippet of conversation.

She sounds like she’s calmed down, at least with him. When I walked by the open door, she shot me a withering glare that could melt a lesser man, branding my skin and scorching my resolve.

So, I kept walking like a fucking coward.

While I trust her intentions are pure, it’s still unwise to disclose our identities. What he did is considered a major transgression, a deliberate defiance of the established rules, all for this girl.

A transgression I was willing to commit, too, which is what pissed me off so much.

At least he has the bravery to face her, man enough to walk in and have a conversation with her instead of standing in the hallway, pacing. Craig has always been an open book, able to talk out his feelings and communicate so easily. It’s a constant battle for me, and too often, my unease is mistaken for arrogance and indifference.

It’s not that I’m unwilling to let others in, but I struggle to make it happen.

  I simply don’t know how.

Their voices are a lull, not loud enough for me to distinguish what they’re saying. But soon, the room is filled with the undeniable sounds of their kisses, a soundtrack to her walls crumbling under the weight of his open-heartedness and genuine compassion. For a minute, I listen, every cell in my body yearning to be a part of the blissful noises she makes.

The bed creaks in perfect sync with her escalating calls, his name flowing so effortlessly from her lips. Dejected, I drag myself to my room to sulk, overcome by a staggering sense of loneliness that I haven’t felt in ages.

The clock reads 2a.m., and the stillness of the night is suffocating as I lie awake, staring at the ceiling. I can’t sleep, can’t rest… can’t do anything other than think. Everything that happened this evening has made my thoughts spin out of control.
