Merryn had taken Keyne's hand and was pointing out constellations she was almost certainly making up. “That one's the dragon. And that one's the cauldron. And that bright one there is the crone.”

  “There's no constellation called the crone,” Keyne said.

  “There is now. I've just named it.”

  Merryn sighed then looked up at Delia. “Nana, do you like your new life?”

  Delia beamed at her. “I absolutely love it. Every messy, magical, marvellous bit of it.”
