David looked into the sky one last time before the change his body was going through and saw four massive horseman ride they're way onto a battle ground between millions of Angels and Demons. It looked like a Mural. A painting of Revelations come to life from all the stories he'd heard when he was a child. Hunger was taking over his mind and the sides of his vision going black as he thought his last thought. It was all true.

Annabelle closed the black book and put it down with care. The Fiend's gruesome face was up against the window, fogging it up with short bursts of hot breath. It was sniffing for food, and it smelled it. Annabelle didn't move. “Don't move, Sarah.” she whispered. “If you know what's good for you, you won't move.” Annabelle looked down onto the floor and saw that Sarah was asleep, fidgeting in a dream. Stupid girl. Thought Annabelle.

The Fiend stomped it's way over towards the front door and pushed. Annabelle's magic held this door closed every autumn night for over five hundred years and she's never had an issue, but on this night The Fiend's strength overcame that magic.

It pushed with all it's might. The deadwood door cracked and splintered open with the weight of the monster and the sound of a magic force field could be heard dying out. The Beast roared with anger as it snapped the door in two with it's final blow.

  Then, it entered the house.

The Fiend saw that it was inside an empty, darkened house. Annabelle saw the beast standing in her dimly lit furnished living room over Sarah's still sleeping body. Annabelle did have some magic left.

The Beast's nose did the searching. It sniffed at the air and began to tread over to Annabelle. In a panic, she flicked her wrist and on came the lights for the Beast. In another flick, she made only Sarah visible.

As Sarah came out of a deep sleep she saw above her the nine foot tall, hairy, red eyed, long fanged monster that tore apart her best friend Alice earlier that night. Sarah screamed

The Fiend let out a long howl and picked her up before she could get up to run and ran out the door with her over it's shoulder into the night.

Annabelle sat there a little shaken and breathing heavily. In five hundred years that's one to the beast, and ninety-three to me. She thought as she got up and walked into the back bedroom.

In a display case lay ninety-three Children Skulls arranged in chronological order. The earliest being all bone with the more recent ones having skin and hair still intact.

She walked outside and into her yard to make sure all was well. The Moon was still shining high in the sky, the temperature still just above freezing. She smiled as she turned back to her house.

Blocking her from her house were over thirty of the large hungry Fiends.

Annabelle tried to use her concealing magic but was too overwhelmed to focus. The Fiends ran at her and tore her to shreds, gobbling up every piece of her.

Sarah was still screaming as she was carried off into the woods by the beast. It placed her gently down on a pile of dead leaves and stared at her. It began to morph into a human shape and by the time it was done, it had fully morphed into her best friend Alice.

  Sarah fainted.

When she awoke she noticed she was in the same field she was in before this whole nightmare had started. The field with the Fireflies. Only this time, she was surrounded by many other children. “What's going on?” she asked “Alice, I thought I saw you. .”

Alice walked up to Sarah and spoke.

“That Witch has been killing innocent children for over five hundred years. Our group has been trying to kill The Witch but has failed due to her strong magic. When we knew her powers were weakening, we used you as a way to get her to let her guard down.” “You used me?” Sarah asked still shaking. Alice put a hand on her shoulder. “We knew tonight was the night, there were never any doubts. However, you're still not safe.” Alice said with a giggle, her friends following her lead. “I'm not?!” Sarah cried. “No.” Alice simply replied. “You see, our pack here is a very old, very secretive pack and we need to keep it that way.” Sarah could feel the hair on the back of her neck standing up. “Please. . I won't tell anyone.” Sarah begged. “I'm sorry.” replied Alice.

Sarah watched as they all morphed into their other worldly forms, their body's twisting and snapping.

“Mama!” Sarah called out just before they ripped her limb from limb, so fast that as Alice swallowed the top half of her head, Sarah's still functioning eyes watched in horror and without any physical pain as she slid slowly down the back of her best friend's throat.
