  REFERENCE: BREAKER’S BERSERKERS

  Because this book is more than any other tied to the Supers: Ex Heroes series, I’ve included a list of some of the main characters in these books:

  Charm: Space Kitsune with the ability to charm, cloak, and use light. Thought she was a supervillain, but it turns out she was undercover. Her charms work on herself as well as others, which can sometimes be a negative, or at least confusing. Loves to experiment. As she grows tails, she is apparently advancing with this new core energy we’re beginning to understand.

  Twitch: Super hacker with the ability to alter reality, in a sense. Was guilt-ridden over thinking she had destroyed the planet Harang with a black hole, but later found out it was transported elsewhere instead. Recently, she used her powers to adapt herself, so that she can fly and use her voice like Harp but in an EMP way, as well as taking on powers like ice spears from Gale and blue energy shields from Andromida. Possibilities in this regard seem endless, but might come with a price. Sometimes likes it rough.

  Gale: Formerly with the Citadel military, thrown into prison for fraternization and then losing her temper, to put it lightly. Abilities include ice, wind, lightning manipulation, and a new one called elemental thought. Plumper than most, in a fun and tasteful way.

  Shimmer: Military leader we found on the planet Harang, with the ability to make powerful illusions. Sweet, while not taking any shit. Has a Big Fucking Gun (BFG), and now an ice mind power.

  Andromida: A blue-skinned beauty who put herself on the space-based prison ship in order to hunt down those involved in the destruction of her home planet. Hadrian’s daughter. Latching and portals. Ability to manipulate metal and otherworldly souls that drag enemies through the ground, or out of our dimension—hard to be sure.

  Aegriss: An android taken from one of the Paradise Planets, but as alive and real as the best of ‘em. Shares a link with me, and can hack into systems of ships, mechs, and more. Can share her pleasure. Now has a badass metal arm with the power to absorb attacks and send them back.

  Laurel: Knew Charm and Harp from their time at Supralines together, where the three were kind of lovers. She has a connection with nature, and the ability to read thoughts, although this power has evolved so she can now get into others heads and maybe even exert a certain level of control.

  Harp: Knew Charm and Laurel from their time at Supralines together, where the three were kind of lovers. Can fly with her wings, and her voice acts to disorient anyone in its path.

  Muerta: Until recently was on the enemy’s side, but it turns out she was corrupted as we saw happen to others on the team. She’s done some bad shit, but we’re trying to move past that, as a team. She can be of great assistance, and is hot as fuck. Tall, slender, with her golden eyes and ability to blow shit up, she’s a badass.
