From now on, it’s awesome or nothing.
The End
Acknowledgements
The first four books of the Demon Trappers series were originally published in the U.S. in 2011-2012. In the Acknowledgements for Foretold, I indicated this was the last book. I was wrong. My readers wanted more of Riley and Beck’s adventures and so the series continued. It is currently at eight books.
There were many good folks to thank for helping me complete this book in record time. First, my thanks to my editor, Jennifer Weis, for acquiring the series in the first place. A special shout-out to Mollie Traver, assistant editor extraordinaire, who helped me smooth the rough edges and deftly find the best way to bridge the story between the Atlanta and Okefenokee scenes. Originally, I had planned for this to be two books so there was a lot of work required to ensure the story flowed properly. And as always, a big thank-you to Meredith Bernstein, my literary agent.
Because of the short timeframe I had to write Foretold, I needed lots of support which was amply supplied by my dear friends Jean Marie Ward and Michelle Roper. They went the extra distance to keep me from cracking up, and managed to beta read my manuscripts in record time despite their busy lives. Also, a hug to my spouse, Harold, who kept telling me, “It’ll be okay.” He was right, of course. He always is.
A special thank you to Steve and Jo Knight of Okefenokee Pastimes (www.okefenokee.com) for the extraordinary private tour into the beauty and majesty that is Okefenokee Swamp. I’ve come to love that magnificent natural wonder as much as they do.
Sometimes you just have to seek out a mortician’s advice and this time it was supplied by Shane Burton, who made sure I didn’t goof up the funereal parts. The Innis & Gunn is on me, my friend.
Finally, my gratitude to my readers, who have traveled along with Riley and Beck on their torturous journey and rooted for them every step of the way. The series would never have done so well if it hadn’t been for you. You guys are truly #TeamDemonTrappers.

About the Author
Jana Oliver never planned to become an author. In fact, she told her sixth grade teacher she wanted to be an international spy, which sounded very cool at the time.
That so didn't happen.
After pursuing various careers (registered nurse, disc jockey, travel agent, copywriter) someone flipped a switch in her brain and stories began to pour out. There were so many stories she decided to write them down and publish them. Then someone else published them, in the U.S. and then all over the world.
She’s still surprised by all that.
A few years down the line Jana's an international bestselling author with twenty some books to her credit, and has won over a dozen major writing awards, including the Maggie Award of Excellence, the Daphne du Maurier, National Readers Choice and the Prism Award.
Nowadays she can be found writing her tales in Porto, Portugal when not sharing time with her very patient husband and their cranky (ghost) Feline Overlord, Ms. Dali.
