He grinned. "You only think it because you haven't yet taken stock of your own weapons." East set her from him. "I will take that whiskey now," he said.
A trifle dazed by the abruptness of his dismissal, Sophie went to the front room. She could still feel the pressure of his erection against her hip. It seemed to her that Eastlyn's promise not to draw his pistol had been hastily given.
