TeTe said, "I need you on your knees when you're talking to me."

  Mike plummeted to his knees.

"I know you're wondering who the fuck I am."

  Mike shook his head.

"I was in the car that you shot at."

  "I didn't shoot at nobody."

"Mike, don't play with my motherfucking intelligence."

  "I don't even know you."

"Where the fuck is Shakur?" TeTe said. Then, very calmly, she said, "Dank tells me you have a cute little boy."

"Please, leave my son out of this. I'll do whatever you want me to do."

"I'm going to make you a deal, Mike."

  "What kind of deal?"

"Do you want to raise that little boy of yours?"

Mike said, "Why should I believe you now? You said that you were going to let my son and wife live once I gave you my friends." Mike turned to his friends and though they were gagged, he could see the disappointment in their eyes. He'd proven to be a bitch-ass nigga to them, but he didn't have a choice.

"Your son and wife are going to be okay."

"So why do want to make another deal?"

"Will you shut the fuck up!"

Mike was quiet, thinking he would smack the fuck out this bitch if it weren't for the clown pointing the gun at his head. One thing he never liked was a chick who thought she was a man, and this chick was clearly that.

TeTe walked closer to Mike, who was down on his hands and knees. She stepped on his hand. The Louboutin heel dug deep into the backside of his hand. He grimaced but he didn't scream like he wanted to at that moment.

"Now I'm going to need you to shut the fuck up for few moments. Understand me?"

"Yes, can you take your foot off my hand?"

  "Say pretty please."

  Was she serious?

TeTe laughed at him and spiked her heel deeper into his flesh until he screamed.

  "Pretty please!" he cried.

She removed her heel and Mike stared at his throbbing hand as it bled.

  "I need Shakur."

"I don't know how to get in touch with him. I have his number but I don't have my phone."

"Look, one of ya'll were responsible for shooting at a car that I was in and I intend to find out who."

TeTe looked at Dank. "Call Todd and tell him to power on Mike's phone and find Shakur's number."

Dank called and Mike informed him that his phone was the new iPhone 6. Todd found Shakur's number in the contacts and gave it to Dank.

TeTe said, "Tell Todd to take a picture of the kid and send it to me."

Seconds later, a picture of Mike's kid came to TeTe's phone.

She presented Mike the picture of his son sitting on the sofa. "You see? He's okay."

  "Thank God."

  "Seven or eight?"

  "Seven."

"My daughter is eight. She's my world."

Mike didn't know if he should say something about his son or not. This seemed a little odd, but the picture of his son made him feel like he should at least try to call Shakur. If there was a chance that he could ever see his son again, he would have to do it.

She passed him her phone and Dank called the number out.

"I need you to call Shakur," TeTe said.

  "He's not going to answer."

  "Do what I say."

He dialed the number. "No answer."

  "Try again."

  He tried again.

  Shakur said, "Hello?"

  "This is Mike."

"What the fuck do you want?"

"I need to talk. Can I meet up with you?

"I'm at L.A Fitness on Piedmont. If you want to talk, come to the gym."

"Okay." He terminated the call then said to TeTe, "He's at the gym. He's not going to meet me."

"That's okay" You can give us a description of him and Dank will go check him out. We'll get back to his ass sooner or later."

  Chapter 21

Q and Fresh had gotten rid of a thousand kilos in two days. They had given the Virginia, North Carolina and Louisiana distributors the majority of the drugs. Q's longstanding relationship with them allowed him to ask them to buy more than they usually would. He'd told them that he needed to move the product fast and since he'd probably made each of the men rich, they agreed to help out. He took their money and flew to Houston to get the ten million to pay Diego, so he would release Rico. Time was ticking.

Black noticed that TeTe had called him back to back. He called her back right away.

"Babe, I need to see you right away." she said.

"Can it be tomorrow? I got a lot going on today?"

"You really need to see me. I have something to show you."

"Okay, but I can't stay long. Where are you?"

"I'm in Dunwoody. I'll text you the address."

  "Okay."

  * - *

An hour later Black entered the house in Dunwoody. TeTe approached him and hugged him. Then she ordered him to follow her. He trailed her into a bedroom in the back of the house and when Black spotted the man with the Desert Eagle, he reached for his gun.

TeTe grabbed his hand and said, "Relax, baby. It's all right."

Black saw three men tied up, lying face down on the floor.

"What the hell is going on?"

"These are the men responsible for shooting the car."

Black recognized Mike, Tater and ugly-ass Kenny-Boo. He was confused. How did she know? How did she find them? How did she catch them? How did she bring them here? So many questions ran though his mind.

She slid her hands around Black's waist and said, "Mike?"

He looked up at Black, thinking that he knew Black was the motherfucker responsible for this. Black had murdered his brother and he'd thought that he would get a chance to avenge his brother's death but instead Black now had the upper hand.

  "Untie him."

Black eyeballed Mike the whole time, wondering how she found them. He wanted to slap the fuck out of him with his crutch as soon as he saw the punk motherfucker.

"What are you going to do with these clowns?" Black asked.

TeTe stared at Black like he was a goddamned fool. "What do you think I'm going to do with them? What did they try to do to us?"

"You're going to kill them? Right now?"

  "What do you think?"

  "In this house?"

  "Right now?"

Dank handed TeTe the pink 9.mm with a silencer. She approached Kenny-Boo and Tater then fired shots in the backs of their heads. Bullets ripped through their brains and blood spilled onto the floor.

Black starred in disbelief. He'd seen a lot of men die, but never had he known a bitch that was so ruthless. She approached Black and kissed him.

Mike was still bowing to her looking like a goddamned idiot. Happy that she'd spared him. She kept her promise and he was grateful and sad at the same time. Grateful that he was still living and disturbed that he'd watched his friends get murdered.

TeTe presented.Mike the picture of his son again, the same one of him sitting on the sofa. Then she shot him in the side of his head.

Black said, "You're a cold bitch."

  "You didn't know?"

  "I know now."

  "And Shakur is next."

  "What do you mean?"

"I know where he works out."

She wrapped her arms around him and led him into the next bedroom. She kicked her Louboutins off, laid her purse on the bed and unbuckled his belt. Black removed his shirt and was now in his wife-beater. The remote control to the surround sound was lying on the nightstand. She turned it on and Rick Ross and K Michelle's "If They Knew" blasted through the speakers.

TeTe kneeled before Black and said, "You ain't never met nobody like me and you never will." Then she took Black in her mouth.

Black believed her. He was attracted and afraid of her at the same time. Something about TeTe wasn't quite right. He knew he had to be careful. She was undeniable dangerous and sexy. She grabbed his hand and placed it on the back of her head.

  "What are you doing?"

She laughed and said, "I don't usually like to suck dick, but I want to suck yours. Force feed it to me."

Black said, "This is crazy. You just murdered three motherfuckers and you want to fuck?"

  "Why not?"

Black inserted his dick back into her mouth and placed his hand on the back of her head like she wanted and then force fed her his dick.

Q had flown first class to Houston to give the cholos the money and had gotten back to Atlanta the night before. Starr had dropped T.J. off at Trey's mother's house and came over to spend the night. She was still asleep when the phone buzzed. Q grabbed his iPhone. Eric, his distributer from North Carolina, had been calling back to back. And he saw that he had twenty-two text messages—all from his distributors.

He stepped into the guest bedroom down the hall and called Eric back. "What's up, E?"

"Bruh, this shit you sold me was a bad batch."

  "What do you mean?"

"Dude, this shit was sheetrock mixed with coke."

  "What?"

  "I swear to God."

  "Okay, I'll make it right."

  "Okay."

"Was all of them like that?"

"All of them were fucked up pretty bad."

  "What the fuck?"

  "I ain't shitting you, bruh."

Q had always known Eric to be honest. He called all of his distributors and they all said the same thing.

Q called Diego. He didn't pick up.

Q received a call from the building concierge telling him he had a package. He told the concierge to send it up. The doorbell rang and Q made his way to the door. He looked through the peephole and saw it was a FedEx delivery.

Q opened the door and the deliveryman passed Q a box. The box came from Brownsville Texas. Q knew Brownsville was down by the Mexican border. He'd been there a few times with Diego. He took the package to the guest room and used a knife to cut into the box. The package was double-boxed. Q ripped into the second box.

He screamed when he saw Rico's head inside—eyes wide open, the gray streak of hair down his head like a skunk. The locket with the picture of his daughter dangling from his ear. Q removed the locket. That goddamned Diego had reneged on the deal and on top of that, he'd sent him bad dope. Not only had Diego murdered his friend, but Q had lost a shit load of money.

Starr banged on the door, and Q quickly closed the box.

  "Come in."

  "I thought I heard a scream."

  "It was the TV."

Starr glanced at the plasma TV hanging over the desk. It wasn't on.

  "I powered it down."

Starr eyed him suspiciously. "What's wrong, baby? You look like you've just left a haunted house." She laughed until she saw that he wasn't smiling.

There was an awkward silence then finally he said, "You have no idea."
