The Wait Is Over (Holiday Series Book 6),

If you plan to read these, please read all the books in the series first. The lives of the characters in The Tahoe Series are so closely woven together, you won’t want to read the additional content for Kinsley & Riley, for example, until you’ve read all four of the books in The Tahoe Series.
Boston Series
Let Go
This is book #1 in the Boston Series.
Gretchen Carpenter didn’t come from money. She didn’t have a lot growing up in her small town. As the black sheep of her family, instead of staying home and taking over the family business, she moved to Boston, got into Harvard Law School, and is about to graduate when she gets an internship at a personal injury law firm. It’s not what Gretchen wanted to do, but it’s the reason she meets Amanda Dixon.
Amanda Dixon comes from old money, and that’s helpful, but it doesn’t stop her from working hard for what she wants. On her way to a master’s in her instrument from one of the most prestigious music schools in the country, she does not have time for a pesky lawsuit.
When the two women meet, they clash instantly due to their differences and perceptions. Once they’re forced to work together, they find they have more in common than they initially thought, and they might just have met the person that finally gets them to let go.
The Right Fit
This is book #2 in the Boston Series.
Erin Stanley hasn’t dated in years. When she lost the woman she thought was the love of her life, her heart just couldn’t seem to recover. Deciding to focus on building a new business for herself instead of trying to repair her broken heart, she begins to think that love might be the very unexpected thing she needs to finally feel whole again instead of the one thing that will always elude her.
Becca Pratt just got a promotion. She should be happy, but it’s a job she doesn’t want. She takes freelance design jobs on the side, and when an acquaintance reaches out about a friend needing help with some design work for her new business, she takes it as a way to get back to doing what she loves. When she first lays eyes on Erin Stanley, she knows this woman will never be just a client.
The two women attempt to embark on friendship while one of them mends her heart, and the other tries to figure out what she wants to do with her life, where she wants to do it, and who she wants by her side.
All Good Plans
This is book #3 in the Boston Series.
Tessa Sherman had just been dumped by yet another woman who didn’t understand what it was like to have a calling. Being a cop wasn’t just a job to her; it was a part of who Tessa was as a person. And if she had it her way, she would do it for the rest of her life. Tessa only wished she could find a girlfriend that wouldn’t mind having a partner that could get called away on a case at any moment, and that understood how important being a detective was to her.
Cassie Fuller has been living on Cape Cod, working as a detective in a small town for years, while the sleepy hamlet has hardly had any crime beyond the random vandals or drunk tourists acting out in the summer months. When a string of high-profile robberies means Cassie gets shot in the line of duty, she’s forced to go on leave from the one thing she loves most in the world: her career.
When Tessa gets asked to take Cassie’s statement about what had happened during the shooting, the two women recognize something in each other that goes way beyond colleagues working on a task force together, trying to find the gang responsible for the robberies and Cassie getting shot. They each crave that one special woman who can understand this very important piece of who they are.
Will they find that in each other?
Around the World
This is book #4 in the Boston Series.
Lauren Newton had a mission, and that mission was the most important thing in her life. It was giving her purpose. She’d been searching for that purpose for as long as she could remember, and she was finally on that path, enjoying her life, when a well-timed break in her mission to save up the money to continue the job, led her to a woman she never thought she’d have anything in common with.
For the past few years, Jamie Todd had been going through her life on fumes and poor decisions. She’d been blessed with enough money to be able to do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted to, and that included her love life – or, at least, her sex life. While home in Boston, she sees a beautiful woman standing in front of a monument to a past tragedy and takes the chance to strike up a conversation.
Lauren is a woman with purpose. Jamie is a woman who hasn’t had one of those and doesn’t know how to act when one is thrust upon her. Both women will have to learn and teach the other as they grow together, if that’s something both of them are willing to try.
What Happened After...
This is the Boston Series Finale: a collection of 4 short stories about each featured couple in the Boston Series. The events take place after each story's respective Epilogue.
Here’s a glimpse into the lives of the ladies of the Boston Series. Find out what’s been going on with Gretchen & Amanda, Becca & Erin, Cassie & Tessa, and Jamie & Lauren.
Epilogues are nice, but they’re a snapshot in time. Maybe it’s a year after the book ends, or even just a few months. Maybe there’s a wedding or another life-changing event. Maybe a character announces she’s pregnant. Maybe the characters are moving across the country.
In this group of short stories, you’ll find out about the directions the lives of Boston Series characters have taken and will take in the coming years, how they’re doing together, how they’re doing at work, and learn about what’s coming next for each of the characters in their relationships.
If you plan to read these, please read all the books in the series first. While the respective books in the series are always complete without What Happened After…, the context of the main stories is essential for you to enjoy these post-Epilogue vignettes.
Sports Series
This series is related by a sports theme, not by characters.
Always More
Everly Holman is between an internship and, hopefully, finding her dream job when she finds an online listing she thinks will be perfect for her. As a relatively new sports psychologist, she’s worried she won’t find the right place for herself. When she applies for a job with the Los Angeles Legends, the professional women’s volleyball team, she finally feels at home.
Wyatt Wicked is the number one volleyball player in the world. She could play in any professional league and had played in many during her career. When the US starts the first professional women’s league, she’s eager to play on her home soil and finally do the thing she loves most in her home country.
Wyatt’s not one to trust psychology in sports. But when she meets Everly Holman, Wyatt not only starts trusting the woman to help improve her game, she also sees Everly as much more than the team doctor. Unfortunately for her, Everly might not be willing to risk her career over their growing feelings. As they both work to establish the fledgling league, they discover that, sometimes, falling in love is worth the possibility of losing everything.
A Shot at Gold
Elodie Booker was a phenomenon. No one had ever taken the sport of archery by storm the way she had. Trophies and accolades piled up around her even in her first years in the sport. Then, something terrible happened. She lost the only father figure she had ever known after losing person after person in her life. It was the proverbial straw breaking the camel’s back, and Elodie left the game, never looking back.
Madison Fletcher was the next big thing in the sport of archery, or at least, that was what she thought. She was about to turn twenty-three, just graduated from college, and needed a new archery coach. Madison knew there was only one person she could reach out to; one person to take her all the way to the Olympic games. The only problem was that Elodie Booker was now a thirty-three-year-old lawyer who wanted nothing to do with archery and hadn’t fired a single shot since she had lost her own former coach.
Madison had known loss, too. Her loss was a different one, but it was still something that could unite them in their pain and understanding. If she could convince Elodie to give her a chance at being the archery star Madison knew she could be, she might also be able to convince Elodie that they were meant to be much more than coach and athlete.
The Unexpected Dream
Mia Landis was so close to being an Olympian. Instead, she watched the Tokyo Olympics and her would-be-team from home with her one-year-old daughter. When Mia heard about a serious professional softball league starting up in the US, she thought it would be crazy to try out. After being convinced, though, she gave it a shot and ended up moving her entire life across the country.
Skylar Donahue lived for the game. Softball had been her entire world until an injury took away her shot to play in the Olympics. She resigned herself to coaching until she heard about a new league starting up. When she made the local team, she had no idea that a new woman in town would completely change her entire world.
Both women dreamed of representing their country in the Olympics. Neither of them thought their lives would take the turn they’d taken. But if they can see past what they thought their lives would be, and look at where they ended up, they might find a whole new dream; one that could last a lifetime.
Finding a Keeper
Sloan Rossi is about to go to college on a soccer scholarship. She has spent the past six years living in London and playing for a well-known team. Now, she’s ready to bring her talents back to the States in hopes of developing into a world-class footballer and heading back to England to play for the English Premier League one day.
When Sloan arrives as a freshman thinking she’d get the starting spot in her role as a forward, she is mistaken. An injury to their goalkeeper and a backup goalie forces Sloan into a different role on the team than she had planned, but she happens to be good at it.
Too good if you ask Marley Nichols, the star goalie for Winterpark University. Marley is a junior, with her sights set on playing in the NWSL after graduation. An injury sidelines her for the entire season, putting a freshman who’s never played goal into the starting spot.
The real problem with all of this isn’t that Sloan’s good and Marley’s worried about losing her spot. It’s that Sloan has become a friend; a best friend, really. And as the two spend time together over the course of the school year and the summer, it develops into more for Marley.
Sloan hasn’t ever thought about being with another woman before. She’s suffered loss after loss in her life, and she puts her heart into her sport. When she and Marley spend an entire year getting to know each other, though, Sloan starts to think that maybe Marley isn’t just her best friend. Maybe she’s something more altogether.
Celebrities Series
No After You
This is book #1 in the Celebrities Series.
Dani Wilder only intended to go to a fundraiser and donate money to a worthy cause. She had no idea that she’d meet the love of her life that night. There were only a couple of problems with that chance meeting. Dani had a boyfriend. That chance meeting – it was with Peyton Gloss, the world’s most famous music star, who also happened to be a woman.
Peyton had only planned on performing that night. When she’d seen the most beautiful woman in the world in the crowd, she had to talk to her. Dani Wilder was a beautiful, kind, smart supermodel, who also happened to have a boyfriend. When the two women spend time together, though, it’s clear to both of them that this is more than merely a close friendship.
In this prequel to “All the Love Songs,” find out what happened the night these two met, and discover how their relationship began.
All the Love Songs
This is book #2 in the Celebrities Series.
Peyton Gloss is the world’s most famous and popular singer & songwriter, known for her chart-topping hits as well as her famous girl squad and July 4th events, inviting all of her famous friends to celebrate. This year, she did something even more extravagant than ever, and invited her friends to join her for a week-long adult summer camp experience.
Mackenzie Smyth was dared to audition for a TV show. Thinking she had no chance of getting the part, she went along with it. Five years later, she’s one of the most popular young actresses in Hollywood. She’s also socially awkward and struggles with getting to know new people and spending time with her peers.
Lennox Owen is Hollywood royalty and has been famous since birth. She’s remained in the business because she didn’t know what else, if anything, she could do, and because it was what was expected of her.
When Lennox and Kenzie meet, there’s electricity between them. And the camp is the perfect opportunity for them to explore what might be. But after the magic of their week away from the world dissipates, can they still find that spark and make their relationship work?
Midnight Tradition
This is book #3 in the Celebrities Series.
Maddox Delaney wasn’t all that famous; she was well-known by association. Surrounded by her famous, coupled-off friends, Maddox had thought she had her chance at love. And when that didn’t work out, she wondered if she’d ever get another try. A New Year’s Eve Party hosted by some of her closest friends isn’t really her idea of fun, but it might just be what she needs to mend her broken heart.
Avery Simpson wasn’t quite sure how she had ended up at this party. She would much rather be working on her app instead of hanging out by herself at a New Year’s Eve party hosted by none other than Peyton Gloss and Dani Wilder. When she’s ended up tagging along with her eccentric brother anyway, Avery feels out of place, and she’s definitely not planning on kissing anyone at midnight. That is until she meets Maddox.
As the party unfolds, Maddox and Avery not only keep running into each other, they are finding excuses to. What happens when the clock strikes midnight?
One night. One party. One midnight tradition. This is the story of how two women meet and decide to take a chance on something they’d never thought they’d have.
Path Forward
This is book #4 in the Celebrities Series.
Jessica Morrison had made some mistakes in her life. Of all of them, one had caused her to lose the woman she had once thought she would spend the rest of her life with, along with the friends Jessica had thought of as family.
Venice Russo had somehow found herself in the company of a lot of beautiful, famous women. Dani Wilder, Peyton Gloss, Lennox Owen, Kenzie Smyth, and Maddox Delaney were now all her friends. That didn’t stop Venice, who preferred to be called Val, from feeling a little out of place.
They nearly met at one fateful New Year’s Eve party but happened to miss each other. A coincidence, or maybe fate, brings them together again. Jessica is carrying her baggage. Val doesn’t feel like she has anything to look forward to in her life. When they find each other, they might also be able to find a path forward together.

Kenna Crawford is the very definition of a hard-nosed reporter. She always gets her story, never takes no for an answer, and never lets go once she’s got something or someone in her sights. When she comes across the story of Ripley Fox, she’s not only intrigued by it but also by Ripley herself.
As the two women attempt to discover if there’s something between them, they’re forced to deal with the realities of what happened to Ripley and how Kenna’s career doesn’t make it easy for Ripley to let go of what she’s tried to forget for the past twenty years.
