Pure gallus – bold, brave, fearless and displaying of ample quantities of self-confidence.
Shoogled – deliberately shook. When referring to the buttock area, modern equivalent would be ‘twerked’ or ‘doing a Miley’.
Sook – Scottish term for ‘suck’.
A square go – a physical fight usually without weapons – the exception involving small children and household objects masquerading as light sabers.
Stookie – the plaster applied to bone fractures, especially prevalent in the Junior Lows’ pre-school superhero phases.
