“My uncle has always had a soft spot for you,” she teased. “You’re one of his favorite students.”
“Good. Hopefully, he can give us advice when we open our own Taekwondo school someday. You know, after we buy a house and all that other stuff first.”
Surprise and pleasure swept through her. They’d been working out together at her uncle’s dojang since last month.
Her growing passion for the martial art had matched Eric’s and was just another way they’d bonded and grown closer.
“I think that sounds kind of amazing.” She moved toward him and helped him remove his tie. “But for now, you know what else sounds amazing?”
His gaze darkened with need as he reached behind her to unzip her short red velvet dress.
“Oh, I have a pretty good idea.”
Those familiar butterflies jumped to life and swirled in her belly as he cupped her face in those big, strong hands.
“I’m so crazy in love with you, Eric,” she whispered.
“Crazy in love? Like that epic Beyoncé song?”
She laughed softly. “Exactly like that.”
“Well then same.” He claimed her mouth in a kiss that rocked her down to her soul. When he lifted his head, he murmured, “So crazy in love.”
“I can’t wait to spend forever with you.”
He scooped her up so abruptly she gasped in surprise.
“We’d better get a jump on that.” He gave her a tender smile as he carried her toward their room. “Day one of forever starts today.”
