But I shook my head. This isn’t goodbye. Not by a long shot.

  The wedding band had nested in the hair beside my heart, and I pressed my hand over both. Then, reaching a leg across the threshold, I stepped through a thin veil of lingering magic and into my new life.

  Started in the summer of 2017 and completed in late 2020, the six books are essentially Jason’s origin story—from being cursed in Waristan as a spec-ops soldier to embracing his role and responsibilities as the Blue Wolf. Though I shed some tears at the end, the series was an absolute blast to write. I’m really going to miss taking Legion into battle.

  Clearly, Jason’s story will continue, though that won’t happen in the Prof Croft books. The professor has his own arc, which is still ongoing. Their collaboration will occur in a future series featuring Blue Wolf, Prof Croft, and a third character whose story is currently being plotted. I can’t wait to get them together.
