First of all, to my lovely supporters from Patreon, who decided, for whatever reason, to honor me with their presence, often sharing kind words, comments and feedback, besides the obvious financial support. I love you all guys and girls! Even if I started writing just for fun, you are now partially my reason to keep improving further and further!

And from that incredible, supporting family, I want to specifically mention my Living Legend backers—Moheebi3abc, Julian S., and Lynderyn; my EX rank backers—Alvzorin, Wiliam H., and Psycolo; and of course my S-rank backers—Magiwarrior, Soen Kigi, Fandley, Luiswu, Darth Mole, Skyell, Dennis W., William J., Robert H., Fussel, Trenton S., SIDracon, James A. You’ve been with me since pretty much the first month of my Patreon, silently watching over my stories basically from their first chapters. Godspeed to you man. Over two years and counting. Insane.

Of course, I can’t forget another patron of mine—Termac. Since the day you’ve joined, you keep relentlessly pointing out mistakes in my chapters, release after release. I appreciate that so, so much. I hope this little mention will show at least a little bit of my gratitude.

Moving off this long Patreon-train, I can’t not bring up my best friend—Peres. Even though I’m sure it’s annoying at times, I can always count on you when a random word that I need suddenly decides to escape my chaotic mind. Your help in catching it is very much appreciated.

Last but not least, to all the readers that follow my works, and to You, who reached for this book. I can never fathom how thousands of people are following me on these various fantasy journeys. Thank You for giving this story a chance. Many of you might not be aware of how anxious an author can get about their own writing. But, just the thought of making someone enjoy a good time even for a brief moment is something incredible. I hope you all will never run out of good books to read!

  Foreword

Yo! Saileri here! Just wanted to throw in a few words before we dive into the book. Also, a huge thank you for deciding to give my novels a try!

I have seen many people mentioning that it would be so nice to have a short summary of the story at the beginning of the volume and that’s exactly what I decided to include in my book. The section before Chapter 1 briefly summarizes the events of Volume 6, so if you are coming here straight after reading it, feel free to skip it without losing anything. For summary of Volumes 1-5, check the beginning of the earlier books again. If quite a few days have passed since you read my story, I hope this will help you refresh your memory. Of course, it won’t be as detailed as the book itself so I still recommend reliving the first volume completely ;)

This story was written in the form of a web novel published on the Internet, which sometimes slightly differs in reading experience from what the usual books offer. Such stories are often long-going, with hundreds of relatively short chapters, and a similar situation takes place here.

This book features three chapters containing adult-themed content and they are marked with a heart symbol in their titles. They can potentially be skipped without losing too much, besides some more insight into the characters, but some small details are still mentioned in some parts of such chapters.

Also, as no one in the world, I’m not perfect, so if you happen to stumble on any mistakes, feel free to bash me on the head about them in my Discord server. There’s a dedicated channel for that there. I finally got myself an editor, but things can still escape our eyes, obviously.

  Without further ado, enjoy!

  Story So Far

  Beware! Spoilers from Volume 6!

For Volume 1-5 summary, check Story So Far in the previous books!

After spending a night at the castle, Asterios and the girls shared a brief talk with the king, where they explained their involvement with the recent change in the issue plaguing the village of Teira, and also discussed parts of Ast’s real identity. He introduced his newest companion, Bryn, and they established trade between the kingdom and her people. The king suggested having Tina already attend the introduction to her new unit and they agreed to meet up in a bit.

In the meanwhile, they visited Grea and filled her in on everything too, surprising the demon lady with the presence of Silvia. Grea took them to her father and he attempted to push Ast’s memory seal further in once more. That revealed a little bit more about Asterios, showing them a discussion between Red and Kaguya about the Descending Spire and some kind of an operation.

Returning to the castle, they joined the king and Tina’s new companions on the training grounds. She learned how to summon her own winged tiger and Asterios gave her a hand at it. They ended up summoning a winged lion instead, who turned out to be the patriarch of the winged tribe. Tina contracted the regal entity, and after discussing it with everyone, she accepted the position of captain of the unit, promising to do her best.

That wasn’t the end of surprises for her and Asterios as the king offered them a castle coming with the town of Glimmervale. They were extremely hesitant to accept the position of the governor but finally relented after learning how the town mainly functioned on its own thanks to the autonomous community that only required occasional aid and a middleman to speak with the administration.

Finished with their business at the castle, Asterios and the girls hurried back to the Demon Continent to meet with the Demon King, but not without getting their promotion to S-rank from Suanori. She and Ellie decided to join them in moving to Glimmervale later. With Governor Rowena’s help, they traveled the Demon Continent and arrived at the capital city. Their audience with the king went completely not as expected and Asterios somehow ended up fighting King Zegion. The duel revealed that the king intended to bring out more of Ast’s held-back power and succeeded.

During their talk, they realized that Red was involved not just with the ruins they had found but even with the state of the entire Demon Continent. Asterios brought Zegion to the underground complex as per the king’s wish and left him there with Rowena while returning back to the human lands and heading towards his new town.

He and the girls met the representatives calling themselves the Committee and attended the welcoming ceremony that introduced them to the people. On their way to the castle, they met a rude man who kept acting like he owned the place until one of the Committee members scared him off for getting too close to Princess Silvia. They lear
ned that the man was supposedly the previous lord’s son who was quite irredeemable.

After sharing a pleasant night in the castle with Tina, Miria, and Selene, Asterios brought everyone to the town hall to learn more about the Committee and how things were done in the city. Afterward, they visited Rosewind to bring Grea to Glimmervale too. Not sure what to do next, they decided to train a bit, and Asterios dueled Silvia in front of their knights and the girls.

The captain of their garrison mentioned monster attacks and they talked about the unusual situation of beasts appearing at weird times. Asterios and the girls thought a bit about what they could do to improve their defenses and he suggested Domicile Summoning, shocking Tina greatly. But, after talking it out with Grea, they all agreed to summon a beast that would be bound to the town.

To gather all the necessary ingredients, they jumped around the kingdom with Umbra’s help, visiting many of their old friends. Unfortunately, Imadil’s forge was empty, and Truvi wasn’t present in her guild, but they found the dwarf lady at her family forge. They learned that she had lost her job and offered her a position in their newly established guild in Glimmervale, under the leadership of Guildmaster Suanori.

Back in their new home, everyone worked together to prepare a giant formation in the main square and a huge crowd gathered to watch the summoning conducted by Asterios, Tina, and Grea. It succeeded and they managed to summon a massive entity similar to a True Dragon which called itself a Dracodon. During their talk with their new friend, Venuzathor pointed out that Asterios felt like he was only half alive, shocking everyone greatly. They decided to discuss it later and finished the ritual, which drained Asterios so much that he lost consciousness.

He rested a while in the castle, tended to by Silvia, Bryn, and the other girls. After waking up, they talked with Venuzathor about Ast’s missing strength and the interference the Dracodon had sensed while being summoned. Leaving Silvia to catch some sleep, they moved to Selene’s realm to play a little prank on the Matriarch, showing Selene’s advancements to her and Ronye. They visited Miria’s realm too before coming back to the castle.

Suddenly, Venuzathor alerted them about an incoming attack and they moved to intercept the enemies. Surprisingly, they found John, the rude man, already waiting for the monsters. The man failed to do anything meaningful and they had to rescue him, taking the monsters down on their own. While they fought, he ran away.

After the battle, Asterios and the girls moved to investigate the site of the interference that Venuzathor had mentioned. They found a hill emanating weird energy and returned home, agreeing to check it properly the next day since it was getting late. The next morning, they visited Radir again and learned about the operation Red conducted on Asterios in the Spire.

Done with the new memory, they moved to the weird hill and started digging down. They discovered a tunnel that led to a cavern with an unusual magical formation and complete skeletons of a few people. They had a good feeling that the deceased were elves and that the circle was some kind of a summoning spell. Deciding that they needed more help, they returned to the castle to grab Grea and Suanori.

During his talk with Grea, Asterios finally revealed everything they had been hiding from her about their ability to traverse the gates. He fully made up his mind to accept her and Grea shared her long-hidden feelings with him too. After an emotional discussion, they shared a quite intense moment in Grea’s lab. After resting enough, Asterios took Grea to bathe in Selene’s realm and they all went out on a small date to fill the demon lady in on everything.

Afterward, they returned to Glimmervale, asked Suanori for help, and went to examine the ominous cavern together. The guildmaster recognized the remains as elven and Grea confirmed that the array was a damaged and contaminated summoning circle. Suanori suggested contacting the elves since this might concern the queen.

They transported themselves and Suanori back to the royal capital and met up with Welrond, explaining the situation to him. He agreed with their decision and promised to contact the Elf Queen through Mirror Cube, a special artifact room shared by both nations.

Back at home, they began their investigation of John and his home since the man was a clearly suspicious individual. They didn’t find anything concrete but had very bad premonitions about the man who suddenly was nowhere to be found. Shortly after they finished, Yumi, their personal maid, came to let them know about a commotion in the town.

The commotion turned out to be the arrival of Imadil and Silvia, who decided to move into Glimmervale. During their chat, he learned that they were quite close to the royal court back in the day and talked a bit about the queen and the current situation of Glimmervale. The duo of elves agreed to help them out with their knowledge as much as they could.

The next day, Asterios took the girls to visit the local enchanter, aiming to employ the person to work on his Runic Chips. They met an old man named Endymion, who introduced them to the magic of enchanting, cooking up a little presentation for them. He taught them a lot about enchanting and finally agreed to work on Ast’s tokens.

Soon, Asterios and the girls ran into three cloaked people who turned out to be a delegation of elves sent by the queen. The group was led by a female Summoner scholar named Fievedem. They moved to the contaminated circle and let the elves conduct their own examination, confirming what they had previously learned and expanding a bit on it. Finding ciphered notes, the elves promised to crack them alongside Suanori and they returned to Glimmervale.

At night, Venuzathor reported movement near the sealed entrance to the tunnel that connected with the formation and Asterios instantly jumped into the cavern with Umbra’s help. He found John trying to make use of the magical circle, and during their scuffle, the array exploded, taking a huge chunk of earth with it. But, instead of shutting off, it opened a massive, ominous gate.

Before monsters poured out of it, Asterios returned to the town to warn everyone and instruct the girls on what to do. They began preparing their defenses. With all their forces gathered in front of the town, they made final preparations and the monster wave arrived. Asterios boosted everyone’s morale with powerful spells that cleared the entire field and the battle began.

Somewhere in the middle of that war, Grea and the elves managed to decipher the way to disable the array and Asterios took them to the giant hole in the earth. They had to stop monsters from pouring out of it for Fievedem to draw her formation around the edge. Tina, Suanori, and finally Asterios held them back with their abilities. He didn’t hide his draconic origins during his efforts.

After he breathed fire into the chasm, something rumbled and began crawling out of the pit. A massive beast resembling a humanoid jackal climbed up the cliff. Asterios ordered Fievedem and the girls to go down and take care of the array while he led the monstrosity away from them, engaging it alone. He was like a fly compared to the giant and the fight was nowhere near easy and simple.

At one point, he noticed Silvia coming in to help and he scooped her up into his arms before she was hurt. They started working together to beat the monster and their combined fires finally wounded the jackal greatly. But, it still managed to regenerate partially and protect itself. They were starting to lose hope.

Then, a spiritual explosion took place and they realized that their friends managed to finish their task. Soon after, Venuzathor arrived at the place of their battle and crushed the pitiful monster like nothing. Asterios and Silvia landed the killing blow on the beast, joining their energies around his artifact sword.

They regrouped back at the town square and announced their success. Thanks to Asterios capturing John, the man was executed in front of the townsfolk by their guardian Dracodon. Everyone began cleaning the remains up with excitement, unable to wait for the celebrations that would take place in the evening. People partied, danced, drank, ate, and enjoyed the festivities alongside Asterios and the girls.

Finding Silvia resting at one of the benches on the side, Asterios approached the princess and they chatted briefly. After a drunk person almost stumbled into them, they decided to move to a quieter place and walked back to the castle. Finding themselves in Ast’s room, they figured out their mutual feelings and finally became one. Their heated moment grew quite intense as their auras mixed with powerful flames.
