"I know," I said, looking up into his eyes. "And I love you for it. I'm sorry I ran."
His hands slid to either side of my face as he stared down at me. "I'm just glad you found your way home."
His lips crashed onto mine, filling my heart to the brink. I'd been wrong up there on the stage earlier. There was only one place that could feel like home and that was here, wrapped up in the arms of the man I loved.
