Blake’s strokes were long and powerful as he drug almost completely out of her hot, moist box letting the tip of his shaft hovering just inside her entry before plunging deeper. Cam could swear that the depth of his strokes had him bumping against her womb. The slight pain was both agonizing and sensual she had never known such sweet pain.

With each flex of his hips she became more and more his mind, heart, body and soul.

His for as long as they both shall live, and hopeful that was for a long, long time.

Their release was mind blowing and simultaneous as grunts and moans filled the room while they both tumbled over the edge of orgasmic abyss. A short time later they lay side by side trying to recover from the immense pleasure brought on by their shared release.

Cam was so exhausted that she fell instantly asleep lying snuggled in his arms with her head pillowed on his shoulder. Blake tried hard not to wake her as he reached down to pull the covers over them. After tucking the covers securely around them both he used his index finger to push her hair from her face.

Blake was so in love with Cam that even the thought of losing he made his heart hurt.

“Vous toujours serez le mien, je vous aime ma femme chérie.”You will always be mine; I love you my wife.” He whispered to her sleeping form.

  CHAPTER TEN

The following morning Cam stood in the kitchen sipping a steaming hot cup of coffee. She’d purposely risen early slipping from bed carefully as to not awaken Blake she needed time to think. She hadn’t fallen completely asleep last night when she’d heard what he said. He’d said it in French probably thinking if she did hear him she wouldn’t understand his words.

But she had understood his words and now she couldn’t think of anything else.

  He loved her.

She was overjoyed knowing that he was in love her.

Now what? What was she suppose to do? If she told him that she’d overheard him then he’d know that she could speak French all along. He’d probably be mad that she’d lied to him. Well she didn’t really lie she never said she couldn’t speak French.

Cam didn’t want to chance him being upset with her since his family was arriving in a couple of hours and she wouldn’t ruin this for him. She’d agreed to be his wife and that’s exactly what she planned to do. Be his loving and devoted wife.

She looked towards the ceiling to send up a quiet prayer.

Dear Lord in heaven let everything go well with Blake’s family. Don’t let there be any drama and if there is please prevent me from killing someone, because knowing me as you do you know I will not hesitate from doing just that. So please give me the strength to get through this without going to jail or the nuthouse.

  Amen.

By the time Blake entered the kitchen Cam had cooked up a platter of bacon, loaded with eggs and French toast. She was sipping on her third cup of coffee which had her rushing around the kitchen in high gear from the overdose of caffeine. Blake snaked his arm out as she attempted to zip passed him grabbing her around the waist.

“Will you please slow down?” He said pulling her close so that he could kiss her on the lips. “Good morning chérie.” He said taking the carton of orange juice from her hand he sat it on the table beside them.

Cam smiled up at him placing both her arms around his thick neck. “Good morning, Blake are you hungry?”

Blake laughed. “Is that supposed to be a trick question? Cam you know I’m always hungry.”

“That’s true. Well sit down everything is ready. Do you want a cup of coffee?” She asked reaching for the pot.

“Yes please that would be great, but I think you’ve had enough coffee this morning.”

Blake eased slowly into his chair she didn’t miss the slight grimace of pain he made as he did so. She went to the cabinet where she’d stored his pain pills and retrieved the prescribed amount. Bring them to the table she place them and his coffee on the table beside his plate then poured him a glass of orange juice.

“I don’t need these, I’m fine.” He said pushing them away.

“Really? I saw the grimace you made when you sat down now stop being a tough guy and take the pills.”

“I don’t need them.” He replied.

Cam placed both her hands on her hips, which was never a good sign. “Look this can go one of two ways, either you take those pills willingly or I will shove them down your throat forcibly.”

Blake glanced up at Cam seeing the serious and defiant expression on her face he decided it was best not to push her this morning especially since his family would be arriving soon.

“Fine I’ll take the dang pills.” Lifting them from the table he tossed them in his mouth then took a big gulp of his orange juice. He opened his mouth to show her he’d swallowed the pills. “Are you happy now?”

Cam smiled at him as she took her seat at the table directly across from him. “You’re the one that should be happy because the second option definitely wouldn’t have been pleasant. Now eat your breakfast we have a lot to do this morning.”

“Yes ma’am boss lady.” He said in a teasing tone.

She threw her napkin at him laughing. “Don’t you forget it!”

Before they could even finish their breakfast the doorbell rang. They exchanged glances.

“That can’t be them their flight doesn’t get in for another hour.” Cam said in a panic.

“I’m sure it’s just Kat and Kenji. They said they were coming by this morning remember?” Blake said as he went to answer the door.

Cam began clearing the table taking the dishes to the sink. Blake returned to the kitchen with Kenji and Kat following close behind.

“Baby I wasn’t done eating that.” Blake said as he took his plate from her before she could dump it out. He went back to the table with his plate to finish his breakfast.

“That smells wonderful.” Kat said as she took a seat at the table. “Girl pass me a plate and a glass for the orange juice.”

“My little kunoichi you just can’t invite yourself to breakfast.”

“What? Listen samurai man have you forgotten that I’m pregnant, so for your information that allows me to invite myself to any meal. Girl what is taking you so long with my

plate?” Kat said as she placed a napkin over her growing stomach.

Cam placed a clean plate and glass along with a knife and fork in front of Kat she also set a place for Kenji. “Please sit down and have something to eat, if you don’t it will go to waste.”

“Yeah man this French toast is awesome you have to try it.” Blake said shoving a fork full in his mouth.

“He’s right this is the best French toast I have ever tasted and these eggs are so fluffy.” Kat said between chews.

Kenji proceeded to fill his plate with food.

“Would you like juice or coffee?” Cam asked Kenji.

  “Coffee please.” He replied.

  “No problem.”

Cam glanced up from pouring a cup of coffee to see her brother Thai entering the kitchen.

“I’ll take a cup of that if you don’t mind.” Thai said to his sister before shifting his gaze to the table where he spied the platter of food. “And can I have a plate for some of your French toast?” Cam stared at him for a moment.

“Have you ever heard of knocking better yet we have a doorbell, ever use one? You just push the little button and when we hear it ring we answer the door maybe.” Cam told Thai.

“Why would I do that I’m family, besides I have a key.” Thai replied. “Oh and I need a knife and fork and don’t forget my glass for the juice. Thanks sis.” Thai took a seat at the table as he waited for Cam to bring him the items he’d requested.

“What I’m I the maid.” Cam complained as she sat his cup of coffee on the table beside him.

“No baby you certainly are not. You have a seat I’ll take care of Thai.” Blake said as he held his chair for her.

“I could take care of Thai. I may have to do twenty to life but I don’t know, it just might be worth it.” Cam said scrunching her forehead at her brother.

“There you go always tryin’ to hurt somebody.” Thai said eating a fork full of food.

“Where are Alex and Prescott I’m surprised they aren’t here scoffing down my

  breakfast?” Cam asked.

“They went to the airport to pick up my family. They’ll bring them here once they do.” Blake said.

“Should I plan something for lunch?” Cam asked.

“Yes!” Kat, Thai and Kenji all said in unison. One of Blake’s eyebrows shot up towards his hairline.

“Only if you want to if don’t we can order in. It’s your call, baby.” Blake said.

“I really don’t mind I like cooking it takes my mind off things. Let me see what we have.”

Cam went to the huge pantry where there was not only tons of food but along the back wall was two large freezers filled with a wide selection of meats. She decided to make a chicken casserole for lunch. Gathering all the items she would need she exited the large pantry and placed them on the counter.

Blake and Thai were loading the dishwasher when she returned. Kenji was wiping down the table and Kat was placing the leftover food into plastic containers to put in the fridge.

“Thank ya’ll for all your help.” Cam said to them. “Now I can handle it from here so go into the living room while I put together this casserole and get it in the oven.”

“I can give you hand with that if you like.” Blake said moving behind her to slip his arms around her waist.

Cam covered his arm with one of her hands as she looked back at him. “You don’t have to do that I have everything under control so go.”

“It’s alright Blake I’ll stay here to keep her company in case she needs any help.” Kat said. Kenji glanced at his wife with a skeptical look on his face. “I didn’t say I’d help, I’m just keeping her company so the food is safe from my non-cooking hands.”

“Good!” Kenji said kissing her gentle on the forehead. “As much as I love you for being the wonderful woman you are. You are a lousy cook.”

“Thanks, Kat.” He replied kissing Cam on the neck before leaving the kitchen.

Kat waited until Blake was gone to say anything to Cam. “Alright what’s wrong with this picture? You’ve gone from Machine gun Millie the ass kickin’ CIA agent to Housewife Hazel cookin’ your ass off over night. So what gives? What’s going on?”

Cam stopped what she was doing at the sink, glanced at Kat then went to the kitchen door to make sure no one was there. When she returned to stand in front of Kat she told her all about what had happened the previous night.

“Oh yeah and don’t think I’ve forgotten that you tricked me into yet another outfit I couldn’t get out of.” Cam added.

Kat laughed. “Well you got of it somehow you not wearing it now. Are you? You should be thanking me.”

“Thanking you, how the heck do you figure that?” Cam asked in disbelief.

“Well it was his helping you out of both these outfits that led to some steamy off the charts love making correct?” Kat asked.

When Cam just stared at her but didn’t answer, Kat laughed.

“That’s what I thought. You’re welcome. Now what are you going to do about him being in love with you, especially because of the fact that you’re in love with him also.” Kat said.

“I want to tell him but I don’t know if I can.”

“What’s not to know you say Blake I love you it’s that simple. Tell him in any language you want, hell you know four of them so pick one.”

Cam rolled her eyes at her pregnant friend. “You have an answer for everything don’t you?”

“That’s because I’m wise beyond my years, or so I’ve been told.” Kat replied.

“Alright mother wisdom let’s get this casserole in the oven and get the heck up out of this kitchen.” Cam said teasingly.

“That’s fine with me you know I don’t cook. I can out fight and out dance the best of them but put me in a kitchen and you better just be expecting me to eat.” Kat said as they both laughed.

“About that, I thought Amaya taught you how to cook?” Cam asked.

“She did, but I hate cooking so I made sure that when I did cook I ruined the meal so he wouldn’t ask me to cook anymore.” Kat replied.

Cam laughed at Kat’s sneaky tactics. “Girl you are too much.”

“Hey you laugh but it worked didn’t it? Oh that reminds me I wanted you to hear this song. I know how much you love the R&B singer Joe well he did this song you have to hear.” Kat said as she went to her bag to retrieve her cell phone she scrolled through the playlist on her phone until she came to the song she was looking for.

“Check this out I don’t know if you’ve heard of him or not he’s a young and very talented Japanese singer named Shota Shimizu and he’s on the song with Joe it’s called Roll with me.” She said as she hit play on the touch screen.

They both listened bobbing their heads and tapping their feet until the song was over.

“Girl you’re right that song is the jam, hey send that to my phone would you?” Cam said.

Kat tap the touch screen on her phone a few more times. “There I sent it to your phone, but didn’t I tell you that you’d love it.”

“He has a great voice. What was his name again?” Cam asked.

“Shota Shimizu. I’m sure we’ll being hearing a lot more from him.”

They were about to leave the kitchen when Kat started to sway on her feet. She reached out a hand to grab hold of the counter as she bent over slightly. Cam gently took her arm and guided her to the nearest chair.

“Kat are you alright?” She asked sounding worried.

“I don’t know over the last few days I keep getting this off balance feeling just before seeing flashes of my father, uncle Daichi and my grandmother Amaya their all in Japan right now. I know something’s going to happen but when I spoke to my father he said that everything was fine.”

“But that didn’t stop you from worrying has it?” Cam asked.

“No it hasn’t and Kenji is worried that all my worrying isn’t good for the baby.”

“Well he’s probably right, you should be stress free during your pregnancy.”

“I know but, whoa that is not good.” Kat said placing a hand at her right temple as she closed her eyes.

Cam stared at Kat becoming a bit worried herself. “Kat what is it? Is something wrong with the baby? Should I get Kenji?”

“No the baby is fine but I just got a really bad flash of trouble coming this way. You guys had better be careful something or someone evil is about to enter your lives. And as far as Kenji is concerned with the connection we have its more than likely he felt me flash and is on his way to kitchen.”

Kat had barely finished her statement when Kenji rushed into the kitchen to knee by her side.

“What did you see this time hime?” Kenji asked taking both her hands in his.

She always smiled when he called her princess. “I saw Blake and Cam then there was an angry flash of red followed by complete darkness as a feeling of coldness enveloped me. It happened quickly but I didn’t like what I saw or the feeling it gave me.”

“Kenji where is Blake?” Cam asked.

“He’s taking a call in the study. It was Prescott he said something about Blake’s sister bring her boyfriend. He’s some European business man but Prescott has a bad feeling about the guy.”

“Does Prescott recognize him for our data base of wanted International criminals?” Cam asked.

“He wasn’t sure yet but accompanying him is his bodyguard slash assistant and Prescott is fairly certain that he’s seen her face in are most wanted system. That’s why he called Blake he was able to snap a photo of them both without them knowledge and sent to Blake for confirmation.” Kenji told them.

“It’s a good thing that he did.” Blake said as he entered the kitchen. “I didn’t find any information on the guy my sister is dating but his bodyguard slash assistant is on our list of highly dangerous, approach with extreme caution most wanted.”

“That woman is traveling with your family and coming to our home?” Cam said as she turned to leave the kitchen.

“Uh baby where are you going?” Blake asked before she could leave the room. Cam turn to Blake and the other’s before answering.

“I don’t know about ya’ll but I’m going to strap on a few concealed weapons, with a heifer like that in the house something is bound to pop off and I plan to be ready. Are you coming?” Cam said turning back towards the door.

Blake thought for a moment or two. “I’m right behind you honey. It might be best for Kat to wait in the study so no one sees her just in case they have any connection to the person we’re looking for.”

“That sounds good to me.” Kenji said. Kat’s gaze shot to her husband.

“Of course it sounds good to you; you’re not being shoved into a room to hide out.” Kat said with a frown.

“Well did you forget that the study has a fifty-two inch flat screen, a fridge and a fully stocked snack pantry?” Blake said.

“If you’re trying to bribe me its working I’ll be in the study. But somebody better not forget to bring me some of Cam’s casserole when it’s ready.” Kat said before striding out of the room.

  CHAPTER ELEVEN

A half hour later the door bell was ringing to announce that their guests were at the front door. Cam had changed into a stylish charcoal three piece pantsuit. She’d altered the vest so that she could stash throwing knives in the lining, the jacket concealed the weapon she had strapped underneath. She also had a small caliber weapon strapped to one ankle and a knife to the other. The three inch heels she wore were comfortable enough that if she had to fight for whatever reason she could.
